Thread: invest tree HELP ME

whats should i do with the invest tree?
at the moment i am have 2334 carbs/0200 bh / 2000CM and i am ay LC 53
i have enough invest xp to get first two boxes in invest should i
grind all my other boxes first so i can accually wear armour ( LOL ) and get stronger.
or shall i just keep doing my very easy bh npc misssions for now until i cap out >?
any assistance will help me for one day i want to hunt those evil scum ( boss womp-rats ) hehe

Get 1st box. Then cap out again then you'll have to get 2nd box. Trust me on this

I recently started regrinding Investigation. It is a pain for sure, but the new loot makes it rater enjoyable. Anyway, I did like you and banked teh 10K xp so i could train the first two boxes at once. I did this when I was bh0444 carbs 3224 and cm 2002. I really didn't have that much problem with no armor. I was level 63 I think, and I could take on marks that were 2-3 levels above me. I used food, forget what it was called, but it gave me +320 health, +200 action regen and +50 mind regen. With that I could win 90% of the time. If I pulled an elite mark I would drop on some armor, even if it did slow me down. I only lost to one elite mark, but he was level 70 or something, I couldn't even dent him 
From my experiences I say go for it, do the training, and head out on your Inv 3 grind. Put the armor on when you think you'll need it, leave it off the rest of the time. Also, through Inv 3 the marks are non agro (not sure if this changes as Inv4 or not) so you can pull up and check him out, walk into range and then armor up if you think it is needed. Also, once you train Inv 1 & 2 you will have duelist stance, use it! It gives you a defense bonus, making the mark hit you for less, and you get a punny little return fire quite often, I think it is around 10 or so, lol, but every little bit helps

jam uplinks in bases thats what i did u get 1k xp from each

Grind enough xp for first two boxes and then train investigation1 and 2. If you don't do this you will have a hard time getting inv 2 because the missions are off planet and your droids still kinda suck. Get enough xp for Investigation 1 and 2 and train it ...then start working on level 3.
Do missions that are in par with your level or maybe a few levels higher or lower. Seems to work the best as far as loot and the xp will be about the same either way.
My template is: MBH, Master Carb, CM 4000 and what I did was I made master carb and cm 4000 first, then I grinded BH to 0444, then started my bh investigation xp grind.

How to Base slice solo (incase you don't know):
- Find an opposite faction PvE base and go combatant (must have no turrets)
- Run into the base and do /tar upl (after this you should become incappacitated from the npcs)
- Run down to the uplink terminal and click and hold on it until option 2. "jam uplink appears".
- Wait until incapacitated again and then select this option.
- You then select a channel, don't worry which you select as you can select them all, and it is random which will be the right one.
- If you regain conciousness dont select anything until you are incapacitated again. Then continue the uplink slice
- YOU CAN UPLINK SLICE WHILE DEAD
- Complete the slice and bag yourself 1k investi xp.
Don't worry about decay because when 3x incapped i have found that you get no decay

if you have enough xp for inv 1 and 2, then you are probably already capped. Go ahead and train both boxes and see if you can do some more missions. If you can handle the NPCs, don't worry about grinding any more.... just finish the inv tree and grind template at will.

Best to simply gather enough XP for BH 2-x-x-x then slice PVE base terms until finished

i found Slicing bases is the best way, get a JEdi Tank or a Melee stacker to aggro the whole base. A Forward outpost preferably. 1k a slice.
