just wondering im working on inv line in BH now and was looking at CH as maybe a secondary prof. is the new CH any good to add to a BH. i was thinking when hunting jedi would waste a attack or 2 hitting pets and if pets attacking they could not cloak to run away.

I have had 3 MBH/MCH's come for me and all have been very quick fights with them having a one way trip home. Maybe they just didnt know what they were doing, but it was a easy fight for me.

A. I'm guessing it wouldn't be very good at all vs Jedi.
B. yes a jedi can cloak while being hit by pets... but they won't need to cloak as it'll take all of 2 seconds to make 2 (or 3) dead pets and a dead bounty hunter.

Yes CH is more viable than it was after the CURB. One good thing about pets is that certain ones instadeathblow they can also land a lot of different states and with the right specials can do some decent damage. A lot of people don't know how to fight a CH and thus will lose. If a MCH/MBH with various other skills knows what they are doing I do think it would be possible to kill a jedi. Just because you essentially have a CL 70 toon heloping you is not a I Win button, but pets are a nice DoT
The drawback to having MCH is that they can only 1 CL 70 critter or 2-3 critters adding up to CL 70. Another drawback is that BH lacks seriously in accruacy. If you do not have high accuracy you will not do as much damage as a full ranged template i.e. MBH/MRfleman or another of your choosing. If you dont take the time to find all the specials or take the time to learn your template and build your pets then you will lose. Pets cap in attack damage at 499 and have the same penalty as players when attacking a target higher in level than they are.I am currently working to see if I can get it past that cap with a BE pet and some of the attack specials.
As for jedi cloaking they cannot cloak if ANY critter, droid, NPC, or player is within 20m or so of them. The comment earlier about the pet and BH going down in 2 seconds is doubtful but if he had a trio or pair of critters out and wasn't wearing armor thenitMIGHT be possibleotherwise its completeBS. Also instead of wasting time typing out your "attack" make a simple macro for your pets using /tellpet (it doesn't show up in spatial and works just as good) and put it on your toolbar . Making a pet attack does NOT take up an attack or have a timer or cooldown, so put the macro close to your opening attack and you will be good.
