Thread: WTH? Has this ever happened before?
and i get 'the probot begins to conduct a scan on you'. and some damn aggroed animal takes me out.
what is this?

LOL, some Dev hi-jinks before the CU2 hits? Maybe a Dev who harbored resentment against Bounty Hunters? =)
The Hunters becoming the Hunted. I'm gonna have to log in on my main just to see if it'll happen to me, too.
This has happened to me many times....
It is like when you get stopped by the stormtroopers looking for contraband... You could have just continued on yer way... You would have lost a few faction points... but no biggie.
I commonly got these scans, seemed bugged though as you can normally just get on your vehicle and run off with no consequences, I have had rebel officers fine me fp for runniong from a scan before.

Otherwise you really should know this process from the old TEF system.....
Those probot scans are greetings from the Empire...... Imperial Probots as same as Imperial NPCs may scan u by random chance when you cross their ways. In this case they will dismount u from your vehicle and scan you.
As a result of this process you may get to combatant status and being attacked if you are a rebel, or you may get charged a fee for possessing illegal weapons and stuff ( sliced ) aswell as loosing faction points if you are Imperial yourself.
