Thread: Everyone pretty much asked for no player bounties

This isnt meant to be a flame fest, just a different outlook on it
and before you judge, i have been a full temp jedi for so long i cant even remember (in the FRS and all) and i enjoyed being hunted very much
Everyone including the bounty hunter community wanted jedi to be watered down and less powerful. People would cry nerf after nerf on us, pretty much wanted us to be equal to a lvl 1 kreetle. The devs finally listend to everyone and jedi is now nothing out of the ordinary (im very upset about that) but with our part of the losses of being a normal class, you guys also lose your ability to hunt players. We both lost something and without one coming back, the other shouldnt either. Its what everyone asked for and now what everyone got, i guess nobody sat down to think about the consqeuinces of it.

i didnt say it was new, i justmeant it may be different than what most bounty hunters are thinking right now

All I wanted was an end to XP loss. With that gone, I want BH to be able to hunt Jedi. Especially now there's no FOTM BH and the victor will come down to skill.

Asking for Jedi not to be given the freedom to CHEAT is not asking for a nerf (LOS sploits, house sploits, FD sploits, etc, etc). Asking for Jedi to be killable is not specifically asking for a nerf (it could just be asking for everyone else to be more capable). Asking for any of this does not constitute asking for the removal of player bounties, and neither would asking for a nerf.
Saying, "Hey, these guys are kinda overpowered in my book, can you give me a hand SO I CAN KILL THEM." is not the same as saying, "Hey, can you remove player bounties SO I CAN'T KILL THEM."

As long as there is NPC bounties and GOOD GCW battles i can live with not hunting jedi.
I really miss the days when i was grinding Master Bounty Hunter with no jedi only overt equals to worry about. some times i would run into a group of them and still beat them solo or just barely escape with my life and it was fun. Then came the jedi taking over the GCW and not a chance of beating an overt jedi solo. as time pased and more and more people became jedi there was no chance for a non jedi to go overt without being ganked by a group of jedi(funny part is jedi thought it was fun to kill solo overts while they were in jedi groups but would cry if 2 bounty hunters had there mission).
I did not ask for the removal of player bounties in any way. but i would have traded it for a balanced GCW anytime.

QFE!! That is exactly what it was like on my server, and the sole reason I just wrote PVP off as a bad idea... until now.

Nope, i bet if you asked most BHs or other professions we wanted jedi to be more powerful, just fewer of them.
I'd rather have 50 uber Jedi per server than 5000 average ones.

Well I wanted fewer and better jedi, instead it looks like I get GCW, and lots of jedi, well fairs fair, I will run around as a stormie now I guess
