If anyone can take a break from pissing and moaning about the upcoming assjam, I would love to hear suggestions about the best carbines and BH weapons which I must have to make the most of my trade... primarily for pve.

Otherwise I may just stick it out with pistols, since ive already got some decent grind quality weapons.

The word on the street, is that carbines will be the BH primary weapon, so those sticking with BH would probably do well to convert now while the crafters are desperate to move their items.

Dude all our weapons are changing. when we get switched over we will have to radial on our weapon and switch it over in which may make it useless or turn it into some kind of clothing. So we are done. All the new weapons and armor are going to come from quests. So their is no point in buying or selling something else until we get there. in fact i dont think money will be necessary anymore. Everything will be traded it sounds like or gotten from a quest. Theres no food from what im getting or maybe our food that we have now is pointless and their will be new food. LOL

I complained so much about Rancor Aid. LMAO so hard. Now their is no combat medic. Ironic huh

You don't need anything really m8. Both classes are split in two in three weeks time. Save your credits and join the masses.

You know that scene, the one where Marlon Brando did that little hand wave right before he died. Yeah. That was beautiful man.

Proton Carbine works for me.
You could get a crafted Elite Carbine with a few decent components.

I've found the stats on a base/sliced or pupped Elite always get better results than the Proton.

Dont worry about them, they r just blowing off steam cuz they cant get what they want when they want it....morons.

Back to your question...

I use triple capped carbines...

1)MK2 (wound/dmg/sac capped)

1)CZERKA (wound/dmg/sac capped)

1)HLC (wound/dmg/sac capped)

I keep a decent Sluggy around (dmg capped at leaste) just to play with on the lower lvl marks.

Keep in mind, that there is a hardcap at 1.0 on speed, so anything less than that does you no good. They are removing the hardcap with this update.

The HLC or LLC you will want around incase a mark runs. The czerka can put out a bit more of a punch and better speeds and lower SAC than the nyms, (but alot seem to be vulnerable to acid)....the czerkacan also have a better accuracy mod, which helps when trying to apply states.

There has been rumors of 8000E RIS armor that would be nice, if combined with a PSG, but I find most toons will run at you or switch to kinetic dmg if they arent hitting for at leaste 120-140....so Chitin/Composite/BH at 7K/5E/6B seems to work much better with a PSG.....that way you can raise your defences to a theoretical 7K/7E/6B, which makes a bit of difference when fighting npc marks.

Hope this helps.

The best carbine is a crafted Elite II with maxed out dmg and SAC.

The next best thing is the Special Ops Bola Carbine, you can get that from teh secrets of Syren quest.

After that is the Proton Carbine

I use the Bola myself, not a whole lot better then the proton carbine, but it get's the job done.

But the crafted ones are quite a bit better, of course they are too expensive as well hehe.
