one problem of pikeman is the accuracy of advanced weapons (LVA VL)
Is there any way to resolve this problem at low level?
I suggest:
Traps? there are some traps that give melee bonus, what type of bonus?
Knockdown? I noticed that i hit more just after a knockdown
Stun?
Suppression fire from a friend?
Blind?
OT Observation: With specials i can hit from 10-12 meters, whithout specials at 10-12 meters i'm out of range.

There are low level scout traps that reduce melee defense. Since your targets melee defense is directly subtracted from your accuracy lower melee defense in essence equals higher accuracy.
Not sure about the rest but blind reduces their accuracy towards you.

As a master weaponsmith I only used carbines, then the holo madness took me and my 2nd holo said master bounty hunter, no way I said lets try the brawler professions instead.
So I started with master brawler and took up pikeman. First thing I noticed that I didnt hit that often, like 1 out 5 or so at slow speed. Thus I started to work on getting a "high" accuracy LVA and VL. Well I got the LVA up to -40 from -54 and the VL from -30 to -20 and it really does make a difference. Especially on the LVA.
Ask your local weaponsmith to make vibro units with experiment points on range and then have them place some on range instead of HAM on the final weapon.
On another not I wonder why everyone use the LVA. The VL is a really nice and underrated weapon imho. I have a speed sliced one and I hit 9 times out of 10 at speed cap (currently at 3033). Alot of critters have low electricity resistance as well. I think I do more damage over time with my VL than with my LVA because of the speed and the accuracy. For example when I do polearmhit2 I hit the enemy with two-three regular hits while the animiation is running.

Well with my 300k combat xp to start out by the time i had the whole speed tree, i had the whole accuracy tree too. The LVA easily outdamages the VL once you have the speed and accuracy tree. And is much more capable of bringing down armored opponents. (Especially because you dont get an AP damage bonus on a vulnerable creature). Once the publish hits live the accuracy mods will jump and i imagine the LVA will outdamage the VL much sooner.

Has it been verified that the range mods has been changed on the LVA and VL?

Hmm, those changes would put my VL's in the positives and the LVA's around where those VL's were. Very nice!
Thanks for the info!

Has anyone used the +accuracy food? If so, does it make a difference?
The reason I ask is that last night in PvP, I was missing shots left and right. It was pathetic.I have +125 carbine accuracy and +20 carbine accuracy while moving, which isn't that much but I would expect that I would hit more than I would miss. However, that was not the case. I typically use an Elite Carbinefor its better accuracy at ideal range, so I don't think that is the culprit. And I wasn't fighting any real defense stackers...at least that I was aware of. But my combat log was nothing but "You shoot at so-and-so and miss." Any one having similiar issues?
I'm having trouble finding attachments and was wondering if the food makes much ofa difference. Or maybe a Laser Carbine would be a better choice?

I'm not sure about the food but wait til Publish 7 then do the same again and see if the defence stackers can dodge you then

I would hope that after the publish +125 accuracy will be enough to hit the broad side of a barn once in awhile. I guess we will see

Can someone explain to me....at what point is accuracy in carbineer considered capped/too much?
