Ok, we all saw that Jedi Bounties are going away. For a while, Player Bounties will be gone. I don't think it will be forever tho.
First off, this is a new system, and the Devs will need to make sure the new PvE envronment is working ok. It appears that the new version will be class based and not template based, so there wont be any MCM/MBH combos. The BH abilites will be encapsulated within the profession itself, or actually now it is truly a CLASS.
9 Professions/Classes that need to work well in PvE first. I forsee the next big change to be GCW, hence the Commando and Officer professions. This would be the "proving-grounds" for PvP in terms of whether Jedi vs BHvs Smugglers vs Spy vs Officers vs Medics is fairly equal or whether one (or more) is hugely overpowered. I can see how after that "tuning" takes place, it might be possible for Player Bounties to make a comeback.
Look at some of the abilites. Fence Goods sounds illegal to me...We know Jedi are illegal...Spies stealing...there will be ample opportunites to plug in some form of Visibility system. It might not happen right away, but it would be possible.
Lets face it, we don't even know how hard fighting an NPC Elite is going to be yet. I think we should give it some time.
