There is alot of topics on this subjects as i have read to help in my strats. I would just like some help from someone who has a suscessful time with this templet. Im not a noob and gained alot of respect....im just tryin to better myself here.....

I like this templet alot. as i can see the effictiveness of this temp....and hear of its succuss...im still have some problems.

The one thing I have not had is the element of surprise yet....so that might help to some what. Mostly just been PVP'in tryin to get a handle on what tactices work good in combos. Currently this is my strat:

paralyse

Trama(mind debuff)

Thyroid

kd Underhand shot

Fire

Poisen

Stop shot

electrolite drain(if i have a chance) Been told that FR1 has very little drain and makes this basicly a waste

back off and get ready to get kd'ed

i cycle through these shots:

advace critical

quick draw

The other thing i try and do iswait for my next kd, get in a critical while gaining some distance. Trying to save my next stopping shot in the case of a root to keep the distance. But they always seen to close the gap.

I had been doing the action debuff....but most of the jedi i have dueled say that they didnt feel any pain from it.

They did say however that the mind debuff seems to hurt them the most.

Most of the other stats((blind,stun....seem to get resisted))

Healing is a real big issue...when ur gettin hit for 1000 from a saber throw, if ur in pistol range ur in range for this attack as well.

Its not my gear...i have good stuff

6900 energy 6000all

75% armor break

pistol speed +28

Pistol Acc +20

GRA +29

GRS +22

Bio suppression +27

warfar +26

healing Eff +7

Pistol Acc while moving +28

Rifle speed +18

(yes i do know +25 is cap, its just the way the tapes add up)

My pistol has the following:

Mod Attck speed 1.2

dam 500-1095

acc 63

mod dps 663

sac70

Now i know this temp has alot going on and i know one of my biggest probs i know what i need to deal with is healing.

Now im not sayin i totally get owned. I have won some with a fine placed kd/critical/ fire and poisen dot hitting all at once.

I just wanna tweak it a bit and would love some input from some of the more experience MCM/BH/pistxxx4

Hope this will help some others just getting started with this templetas well.

Thanks

I do just about the same thing, except I don't have equipment nearly as good as yours, nor do I use quickdraw.

Basically, I get all the debuffs on, then start hitting them with Critical and Body Shot (Torso shot is used at the same time as the poisons). Then when they are near half health, I KD and pound at them a little (not expecting to get an incap, for this template you need to wait out their mind). Always make sure Thyroid Rupture is on them and pay attention to your health bar.

okay there's a few things that might help you.

Shock may not seem very useful but it is if you understand what it gives you. Shock gives you a better chance of successfully applying other debuffs. Now TR and the like don't fail that often so it's not too much help there. However I find that eyeshot and concussion fail more than they stick. Having shock running gives me a better chance of applying these debuff states. Which in turn makes them useful shots to use.

I would also suggest using biel and stims to suppliment your healing. That will give you heals on 3 different timers.

You should also have the Enhancers for Baca Toss, Spray and the CM dots. They will increase the healing or damage done.

Oh you haven't mentioned dueling stance. You should keeping this applied or at least using it when you get in trouble.

What the other guy said about using body shot and torso shot is also a good idea. Body shot lowers action bar and torso is another bleed to go with Hemorrage. Which you didn't mention you used.

Oh I would pup your gun lower than 70. That will allow you to spam more specials. Some jedis can lower your action so having a really low sac can help when they do that.

I usually try and get every debuff possible on them and only use stopping shot when I need to get out of melee ran or they try to run. KD all you can but save stopping shot for when you need it.

Get in the KD when time is right, keep dots up. Alaways use Adv Crit, Torso

Stopping shot can be used to root Jedi in lairs, stop them from running, stop them from reaching you, it's your most important and versatile attack, use it wisely.I would dump the Pistolsxxx4 and go with Pistols 1xx3 for the extra bump in speed speed (the 4th level of the last tree is not useful with jedi).

Also add this macro (+250 defense which is critical for you):

/duelists;
/pause 26;
/alarmaddin 0 0 STOP, DUELIST!!
/pause 1;
/macro Duelist

Be sure to use the following for deathblow so that the macro does not interfere:

/dump
/deathblow

There's no need to spam torso. It's just a waste. You can only make them bleed from it every so often he would be better of using critical/body or critical/quickdraw.

Oh it would be smart to add /clear to your deathblow marco to clear the combat queue. /dump only clears the macros.

Is that the order you do it in? Because thats really a waste.

Paralyze, Trauma, Thyroid Rupture, Fire, Poison, KD, then alternateAdv. Crit and Quickdraw/BodyShot/TorsoShot.

Also, I suggest tossing in ranged shot and placed shot to conserve a little action.

again thanks for the input. the reason i do it the order that i do...paralyze, trama, thyroid is this....i tried it the way u mentioned but the paralyse become useless really becuz it breaks on damage.By doing non-damagindebuffs first makes it worth while.....once u get the dots kickin there seems to be no need to paralyz any more.really good advice on theDB andduelist stance. Those were questions i also had. I have enhancers for poisen and fire but see very little difference. i have a 1299 on the poisen iand i think around1100 on fire. are these good numbers for the packs? there the highest i could find at the time. Also what would be some good numbers for the health packs as well?

A +10 melee def and a +10 ranged acctrade for+5 speed change in the pist tree isnt that good i believe....as im already speed capped in pistol and GRS. Unless u could explain why....my ears are always open....

i did take hemorrhage off the hot bar just for now....but if ur have sucess with it...i will play with it....I was just told by my oppenetts that is wasnt hurtin that much.

I just started lookin into shock today.....thanks for that advice.....it really does help the stats stick

You guys are great...thanks again....keep it coming......just wonder also .....% wise win/loss percentage?

thanks for the input....guess im on the right track then. i guess torso shot and critical might be alittle better....the bleeds arent much...but i guess they add up. I will add this, the other day i had my combat droid help out....and it did catch him off guard. he did say he noticed a big difference in his health....he focased on killing it and it took him 3-4 hits to kill it. which gave me time to lay my DOTs and root to get out. what kinda sucess rate do u have with ur templet?
