I ask this because I use snares quite a bit. It does not slow them down at all since they can use force run almost indefinitely and at will. Since they are snared, using fr2 or fr3 still allows them to engage with me at melee range. I seem to be taking regular damage during these encounters. I know that pre-cu, damage was reduced while FR was used to stop jedi from kiting. Is that still the case?
I need to know so that I can adjust my tactics and template.
Thanks!

I'd be interested to know this as well. I've not tested it yet...
I'd like to know why snare seems ineffective against force run, but works on regular speed or burst run....

Force Run 2 and greater causes damage reduction, but there are alot of Jedi that only have FR1, which doesn't have the damage reduction.

Is there a rationale as to why FR1 does not have a reduced damage output too?

Fr2 and Fr3 have something like a 90% damage reduction. This is for a very good reason. As when publish 9 was brought in and the jedi profession was changed there was no damage reduction on fr3, this meant that jedi could fr3 and run in and kill pvpers and run out before even being hit, or being hit very few times, making these jedi nigh on invulnerable. This was causing huge problems as master enhancer was the fotm. So it had to change.
Fr1 does not have this limitation, because it is far from speedy and can be easily outrun by someone using burstrun.
