Former BH turned Jedi here. My alt is not currently a Jedi, but I may yet make him one because I loved the profession when I was a BH and the loot is to die for these days.

At any rate, it is true that this board has it's fair share of Jedi running about. I look at it as the unofficial "Jedi vs. BH" board. I swear, if they made one of those right next to the GCW board, a ton of these topics could be moved there.

- Seekers dont work anymore on Kashyyyk to make it easier to grind for Jedi (Jedi save grinding Haven when names were still on terms + LOS spot

Seekers never did work on Kashyyyk. This was not something we asked for, it was made that way by the nature of Kashyyyk. Want proof? Make a waypoint on Kash. Half the time it will work, half the time the waypoint will appear hundreds of meters away from where it was supposed to be placed.

And I know you didn't want it as a discussion, but I'll post this anyways. Jedi are supposed to be strong enough to fight off any non-Jedi that comes their way, unless they are taken by surprise or are just horrible PvPers. When a template arises that can reliably beat a Jedi 1v1 in a fair fight, I see a problem with that. Does that mean that template should be nerfed? I don't think so. I think it means Jedi aren't strong enough. This is why I was against making BH vs. Jedi a 1v1 affair. We shouldn't need a rule like that because BHs should need to group up to bring down a Jedi. God help you people whenever the FRS comes back (provided it hasn't gone the way of the battlefields.... /shudder), as all our truly uber mods got moved into the FRS boxes and Jedi Masters are still supposed to be one-man-armies. It's gonna take one helluva BH to bring down one of those things.

How does one answer "Yes or NO" (the caps on the NO showing a bias opinion) when the question presents "Still the BH Forum" or "a Jedi alt Form"?

Heh, this my crafter's alt form.

Uh, the title is "StarWars Galaxies Forums : Professions : Bount Hunter : " Sooo, it is still the BH Fourm.

Several folks have more than one account. Some Jedi have used their alt spot to create and play a BH.

In the end, it is just a folder in the SWG Fourms.

Exactly, the BH forums get a lot of whines, why? Because all the jedi/bh alts are coming here to take a break from the number one beetch forum of all professions, Jedi.

so what i am understanding you to say is that Bounty Hunters in their own write, with out having a jedi character, never whine?

are you really serious with that statement?

It's the major whine forum, pure BHs post here and so do Jedi w/ BH alts and Jedi w/o BH alts. BHs whine because they suck. Jedi whine because the smart BHs want balance (cloak for instance) then you have the lieing Jedi that claim they are BHs and how BH is overpowered and Jedi are underpowered, then a flame fest starts because everyone looks at his posts and sees he has been a Jedi for months. Then you get the carbine/pistol/rifle/medic/dancer master marksman BH in here complaining because he cant touch a master defender. Then you get the exploiting Jedi in here that try to justify obvious exploits, /duel /friends DBing /offerride /and whatever else.

Then there's me, I want total balance. I call it fair some call it whine.

I have a Master Bounty Hunter main, who will shortly be going Jedi, and a seperate account with a new toon who will be going Master Bounty Hunter.

And I'll never understand the bitterness between the two professions.

I hunt Jedi, I sometimes kill Jedi. Most of the time, they kill me. I bear them no ill will, I do not grief them or send them hate tells, and get neither in return. I always commend them on a good fight, no matter the outcome and leave. No more, no less.

I am not jealous of them, nor doI envy them. I started this game as a wanting to be a Bounty Hunter, not a Jedi. As my game experience has grown, Jedi has become more appealing. I do not consider it to be an Alpha Class, or end game content. I just see it as natural progression. I also enjoy RP, and I look forward to RP'ing my Jedi.

Everybody is in this game for their own personal enjoyment. If you become a BH just to kill Jedi, or just to cause XP loss, then I'd seriously reconsider why your playing this game. If your a Jedi, and enjoy taunting BH to the point of griefing, and are always striving to be 'uber' at the expense of playing nice, then maybe youshould seriously consider your reasons for playing this game.

I've never ever spoken out about the BH Vs Jedi war, nor have I felt the need to. But now, I just felt it was time.

This is still BH forum but Jedis' alts talk too much here
