wondering because I spent quite some time watching a mbh m rifles guildie chasing a FR3 jedi.....for starters FR3 seems as fast a a swoop, and apparently can last for miles.... (which is normal I guess??)
the thing I found strange is that everytime my mate snared him he barely slowed down.....not even enough for my mate to catch up to him burstrunning.
does snare lower you speed by a certain %? and if so, do you somehow "counter" snare effects byactivating burstrun?

FR3 is really fast. Ive said before that they run as fast as a Swoop, but I get Jedi calling me a noob, and how FR3 can only run as fast as a Speeder Bike. But Ive chased Jedi running from me on my Swoop, and they definately seemed like they were matching my speed. But either way, its pretty darn fast.
As to your questions, FR is atoggled power. Meaning they press a button, and it stays in effect untill it is toggled off. As long as thier Force lasts, they can FR indefinately. And from what I understand, FRing can be held for quite a long time.
And yes Snare is supposed to limit thier movement rate. By how much I dont know for sure. But I do know that Jedi are able to FR through it. Wether Jedi FR completely negates the effect of a Snare or not is unknown to me, but thier FR sure makes it look like they havnt been Snared at all to me.
