Thread: Small Proposal To Keep Player Bounties With Risk&Reward System
This would not be a form of forced PVP. I read devs are implementing an additional 10 combat levels for veterans, upping the maximum combat level to 90. My proposal would be making the maximum combat level for all players be dropped to 80. Once a player reached level 60 they would have the options to be bh mark capable. This would automatically add 10 CL to their CL. These players would recieve appropriate defenses, speed, and accuracy for their increased level. However these additional bonus's would come at a risk...the player could be put on the bounty hunter terminals by someone creating a player bounty on them, or by killing factional NPC's. Smugglers could also be placed on in this system through smuggling missions, and Bounty Hunters could be placed on if they chose the additional CL and failed a certain number of bh missions.
Pros
- Additional combat levels added
- No "forced pvp" ;player could choose at any time to be available for this system or not
- Player created bounties without cause for concern in crafters
- Bounty Hunters have a form of content
- Bounty Hunters have a penalty for failed missions.
- Additional combat levels aren't limitted to veterans

read some of hte stuff about rangers & the steal skill that was posted a couple weeks back. looks like most of the ranger stuff got rolled into snuggler. one person gets an object to deliver, the other gets a mission to kill the 1st guy and recover the object to deliver it somewhere else.
that was the one thing they mentioned, but i will bet there are more types of pvp quest in the wings.
Being hunted when you dont want to be is just like being ganked. You say you don't like pvp because its a gank fest yet your perfectly willing to be the "ganker".
Denying content to those that don't want to be ganked seems absurd, hence its not going to happen.
