Thread: I liked BH because it was 1v1 pvp
I was never really into a BH to make jedi loose xp or population control, I did because I liked the 1v1 nature of it(well, after they dropped the group tef thing anyways). I'd be happy if they just removed xp loss and kept player bounties alive. It was the most fun thing about swg and what seperated it from all the other mmo's out there. Now, what reason is there to play a BH? NPC's? Please. They should just change the name from BH to something else, like assasin or something. BH's and CH's have something in common. We're both losing the professions we love.
I'm going to give this new swg a try. If it sucks, or just isn't the same without player bounties, then I'm out.

yah. MsNil was one of the biggest whiners of forced pvp. I had a post that said MsNil was one of the reasons why player bounties went away. to be honest, i absolutely LOVED the hate between jedi and bhs. it gave us a type of edge..it made us better. when i pvp, then pve, pfft pve is a joke really so you tend to really accel in pve. pvp makes you THINK (something most carebears lack, yeah i sad YOU LACK THINKING..lol) and true preparation. Everything you do has to be perfect and you have to play your best. It was so much fun. The problem with Torres is he CLAIMS that the majority wanted this...from what im ready all over the forums, thats total bs. The majority DONT want this. MsNil seems to have brownnosed her sympathy to somebody up there and they caved in. Not to mention just plain poor planning on the devs part. There is NO direction in this game only changes. Theres no mission statement. What are you bhs going to do now? hunt NPCs? **edit**? that is SO boring. I wanted you guys to hunt jedi (im a jedi, and even a POST CU jedi at that)
The sad thing is, MsNil claims to be a (well someone said it) PRE CU jedi!!
Baffling isnt it? So she KNEW she actually had gotten the email that SPECIFICALLY SAYS Jedi is a pvp prof. You heard me right, the email said that and then she starts whining about "forced" pvp. Now, to me, thats about as dumb as a criminal whose warned about stealing and gets mad hes in jail for it...im thinking...DUHHH????? LOL
All too funny. But, my original post to MsNil was deleted, funny since all those hundreds of posts about Marua/Miriam/Tom lasted for ever and the devs didnt touch many of em....
Also, some of her flunkies started to flame me which i brought it on...if you check my old posts, i love the hate and destruction. It keeps me on my toes. but for bhs to not have bounties is like...a HUGE blow. I dont like it one bit.

How dare you all strive for greatness in this game and have fun being the best at it! I mean, how can you actually ENJOY being an excellent pvp jedi? or a bountyhunter at that?? You actually BEAT people in competition when you should let them win! Being the best is bad, its not good. being the best is greifing and its wrong...
You all probably even wanted to get the best grades in school even tho it took work huh? Selfish fools...you griefed the other students by blowing the bell curve you did! I cant stand you types!
In fact when you went to college..you got high grades by taking difficult classes and for what? so you can be uber 31337???? and think youre so smart?
I bet you want to make alot of money which is why you tried to go to the BEST colleges out there huh? I cant believe you. always wanting the best...always trying to do the hardest things in life so you can be elite! pfft..
You probably wanted to win at sports when you played too huh? why cant you ever enjoy loosing? its not so bad...grr you get on my nerves..dont you know when people loose in sports, it griefs the loosing team? or when someone gets into a bad college and another in a good one, it griefs them as well because they could not get to the best college.
Oh and dont tell me, you also got the best cars too huh? why? why do u have to have an elite car? so its more efficient than mine? faster, better looking and longer lasting? why can you just be happy with a lemon junk machine huh? always flashing your car around in front of everyone...
I want all you elite fools to stop being elite all the time and be more sensitive to those who are not!
This game is the same..there should never EVER be losers in a game. everyone should win all the time and everyone should be happy!

I bought out parts of SoE and held some of the developers hostage for several months. It was nasty, but it worked.

Ibegun my Jedi grind in this game with a 15'year old TKM stacker who labeled his victory as a ra'pe.
A friend got hunted down by a boy she used to talk to after neglecting to have him as boyfriend.
Supporting creeps perverted fantasies is not why I pay for this game, and that's what you support. SOE are professional enough to realise that supporting this behavioris ruining their product. Protecting the individual is the highest priority with online entertainment where adults meetto communicate. I should have my right to enjoy the star wars experience as Jedi even if I am a woman.
The following is the official info about why player hunts where removed, taken from the questions the devs replied during the first betatest:
"The reason they gave for the PC bounties were removed is that it promoted a bitter bitter rivalry between BHs and Jedi. I never was a Jedi, but having run BH missions I was upset to no end when I track somebody and find...a generic small house and tells respond with /afk message. Also they want the focus to be on the GCW and having parts of you population angry and upset they can't kill each other because the other is an exploiting **edit** doesn't really build a gameworld. So yes some people enjoyed that, but howmany people avoided teh BH/Jedi forums because of that."

Of course, I think having jedi (elder) over to OTHER jedi of opposite faction would be also fine by me, since theres no bhs (which just is not fair to them at all). I am just in awe. So, Nil, if the devs said elder jedi are perma over to other jedi what would you do?
Thought about it, but ever since SoE said they wouldnt force people into playstyles anymore I kept my hopes up.

what is a griefer? is it someone who forces others into pvp? such as bhs killing jedi? in your opinion i am not cuz, ghandi, im a Jedi...a very evil post cu jedi at that..amazing isnt it.
I was preparing for the mcm/mbhs, i trained and practiced. Pve wore off on me about a year ago. It doesnt hold the challenge of an actual human mind. It never will. It was too hard for you, but not for many. Thats too bad for you.
So, i dont "force" pvp on anyone unless i go out overt looking for a fight.

My profession?? If you'd notice, I also have a jedi. I've been hunted by some of the best bounty hunters on Bloodfin but I never whined once. You and the rest of the carebears, that's all you did never mind you knew what jedi involved.
