My friend just told me that after the next patch comes out DEVS are going to
remove Player JEDIS mission for 2 month.
Is this true?

There has been nothing that we've heard to suggest as much.
Wouldn't surprise me in the least.

but it looks like our droids will start to work with jedis in 1 or 2 month. And maybe no one will try to hunt them till then, could be that that was the source of the rumor.

Sounds like your friend might have taken a few too many drinks from the Jedi whine glass, but I wouldn't be surprised.

But I dont see any secondary specializations for Bounty hunters, such as carbineer and the likes...
Why is this giving me the same chills I get when I hear William Shatner sing?
Or am I worrying over nothing?

It sounds like each Prof tree is going to be more involved and instead of mastering 2 profs you will only be able to master 1 more indepth thread. It also sounds like everyone will be able to use every weapon class unless it is prof restricted. I don't know this for a fact but that seems to be what they were saying.
One other note that is worrisome however, once you pick a prof you cannot change it..... ever.

there is rumour that they will add two more character slots. Can anyone verify?

I suspect because the game wont take long to 'win' now (no GCW and no more 'end game' target - eg jedi) then they will have to add extra slots else people will be leaving rather quickly.

Nope slot you have is slot you get ,want a different profession = deleted toon,BH,jedi etc are now cookie cutter temps no one will be unique.

Thats the fear that I have as well. The only hope is that the Devs understand this and put better content to round out characters. i.e. better player quests or unique designs for vehicles, homes, etc....just don't let this become a FPS.
