Thread: For all of you Uber Peeps Out there...
I made a Zabarak Marksman last night because his stats seemed better than the wookie. I really want to play a Wookie and also be a Bounty Hunter, but I am not sure later on in the game if this is going to gimp my character.
Any advice from beta players or people that have reached the BH profession already? What Race is the most ideal for a Bounty Hunter? Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated.
Yeah we figured you were from EQ when you said "uber peeps"
K thx info TTcry la
Anyway, what race is everyone playing to become a bounty hunter?
I am hopefully going to be a Master Bounty Hunter and I am human. (I chose to be human not because of the stats, but because of their standing with the Imperial fraction. I love to RP and it doesn't fit for a wookie to be among the ranks of Imperials)

Personally, I am going to be a Mon'Colmanian BH.Always liked the things in the movies for some reason, who knows lol. Its not what is "uber" its what you want and makes you happy.
Yeah, wookiees can take a beating (I should know, I am one).
Upon creation, wookiees get 1600 stat points because they are a wookiee (all other species get 900 points). The only disadvantage of wookiees is their unability to wear armor (which, later in a bounty hunter career could be useful, but not necessary).
You still get bad ass clothing for wookiees (imo it looks the best out of anything clothing items out there)
I'm personally not being a bounty hunter as a wookiee (i'm shooting for smuggler), and i'm not sure if I would have picked a wookiee if I was going for BH. If you wanted to be a discrete BH, and not be too flashy with your phat armor and weapons, you could just be a wookiee, and unsuspecting powerful bounty hunter with a roar attack (yes you get that too).
Either way, Zabrak with 900 pts, or Wookiee with 1600 pts, it comes down to character development and how you want to play your character. If you want to be a BH that always has armor and is protected, I would go zabrak. They also get equalibrium (which evens out your stats somewhat, and could come in handy in a critical situation).
If you just want to have all your power at your finger tips, and in the build of your body, and not have to rely on armor, then wookiees are a pretty good bet.
~Just one tip though, if you do become a wookiee: please don't put your muscle slider all the way up! it makes you look like an obese furball. It's an ever growing trend, and I don't recommend this, doesn't even make you look wookieeish.
~ok, you can do it, just don't play on corbantis! jking, lol..
---oh yeah, armor also has penalties to your bars..but absorbs dmg..so it is somewhat encumbersome in a way. It also cost money of course, and will need repairs.
