I am the one who killed Timit on the Ryatt Trails with a last ditch for 4600.
I figured I just saved him time by killing him in 10 seconds vice a long drawn out battle that could take 10-60 minutes.
My reasoning: 3 previous missions where the jedi ran for the LOS and logged off. I was sick of it so I said, this one is not getting away.
Nothing personal Timit, its never personal, your mission came up first.
The next day I used the same tactic, LD for the kill, however I have changed the way I perform it to try to curtail the exploit cry. I engage in combat for a couple minutes in which I stay out of the 32m range using roots and snares. I then come into the 32m range and allow the jedi to engage me via saber throw and other attacks. When I get close to 1/3 health I pop synsteak and duetreium pyro (+100 accuracy food)and use either stopping or adv. concusion shot to root them while they incap me from around 20-30m. With synsteak the incap timer is usually about 7-10 seconds, after I stand up I can let the last ditch go while at incredibly low health (my record with my 353 base dps laser rifle is 6500 damage). If they do AI, I just simply Fiegn Death until I regen health and let the AI run out, then stand up and try again, they will run out of force after a couple AI's.
My primary targets are 210k+ jedi, and I 90% of the time I take out my mark.
The days of 210K+ jedi running around thinking they are indistructable are gone, and its had a noticable effect in Theed where not to many Imperial Jedi tend to duel anymore. (They were my primary target early on)

Man...this is pure genius. i dont care how they rant at ya for this one, its a truly original and creative way of going about it. If you read the description on last ditch it says its a last ditch effort to destroy an enemy. if you're being mulched by a bunch of mobs and you use last ditch to take out the jedi, it is a last ditch attempt, so in essence, its not an exploit. its cheap as all hell yes, but its not an exploit.
Congrats to ya. finally, a bh using his brains to out-gun the jedi, not a huge ubertastic rifle.

Dev's aren't going to do anything about the LoS so I don't mind BHers that do.

The only issue I have is the feign death to get your health back up. Other than that, considering last ditch doesn't connect all the time, see nothing wrong with the tactics.

Because using an ability properly is also a crime? /flail The skill is designed for the very purpose of having them leave you alone. Guess what happens when you're left alone? You heal up and get back to what you were doing. Just because the jedi is still standing there doesn't mean its invalid. Also not to mention the jedi could.. also heal.
