Thread: Best Control Template?

got for a root in pistoleer or sumggler
ah not this is helping, i was seeing the same thing, i had to heal every other command so i coudnt put an attack down, i was too busy healing.
but, how bout in a small team? like if i had a mrifle mbh with me, i could try to tank the jedi, not worry about damage and let the other dude do the damage, if that were the case, and i could just run around and heal all the incomming atacks, i think i could wear him down.
My template has a bit of Nuker/control. At least I've gone more for control than healing.
MBH / MRifles / Master Marksman / Pistoleer 0-0-0-3
The pistols is for improved stopping shot (a root). Rifles gives knee-cap shot (a snare), Startleshot (a mez of sorts), and head shot for extra damage. Coupled with underhand shot (KD) and adv. Crit. If I get the drop on a Jedi and can pull off a sniper shot, root, crit opening combo, I'm usually in a very good position to win.
I'm fairly happy with it. Will accept whatever suggestions / critisims anyone can offer.

I was thinking about following a suggestion I got yesterday to go:
MBH / MP / Carbs 0-4-4-0
I wonder though, since I'll still be using carbs as primary weapons (whats the point of control if you have to be in damage range to use it) if the loss of carbine accuracy will be much of a problem, its why I was asking about the equations about how accuracy and speed skills affect the damage and speed you do....

I am MBH/MC/Pistoleer 0404. When I am paying attention and not letting my self get confused I can control my opponents very well. I will use a combination of charge shot (KD) or underhand shot, stopping shot for the root, and a snare shot (cant remember which one). While doing this I will usually ADV critical in between timers or lay on some states. Generally, I KD, attack, attack, root, attack, attack, snare, attack attack, get hit by jedi, KD recover, KD, heal if needed, attack, root, and so on. Usually it doesnt even go this long, if they are dropping in health fast I stop focusing on control and focus on damage. When I cycle through my combat logs I take maybe 2 or 3 hits from the jedi as I try to always keep them at about 45m range. Now I usually only hunt mark under 180k, but I have lasted long in some fights against full templates. I dont think I could have beat them, but there is still a lot I dont know. The times I lose are usually when I get big headed and stop thinking, in those cases a few extra heals would have done the trick. I think tag teaming with a MR while you tank with healing would be a pretty devastating combo.
