Thread: New BH advice?

Yeah, I'm a respec BH, but it's something I've wanted to try for a while so I switched from Master Tailor over to MBH.
My current combat template is Master Rifles/4444 BH (grinding up to MBH) and the prerequisites in Marksman and Scout. I've been with Rifles for a long time and enjoy it immensely. I know almost nothing about the BH profession, but I've been browsing these forums to try and read up on my new profession so I can learn some before I head out into the field. Any vets have tips/advice for me?
(As an aside, I'm a little leery about getting dragged into the whole Jedi/BH wars, but I'm not even certain if I want to hunt live marks yet. I'm a crappy PvPer, but I'd like to learn about that too.)

No real rocket science to hunting NPC's. Your template will be total ownage over NPC's. When and if you ever get ready to PVP, then get into Jedi hunting. That is where you will be tested, tempered, and forged.

1) Ask some friendly jedi to duel you. No DB...or you will lose all trust.
2) Hunt some padawans...yes padawans. They will still have remnants of their old professions and it will help teach you the basics of PvP while still facing some jedi powers. And you will gain experience in the field.
3) Dont listen to the unconstructive whiners on these boards.
4) Finally you can do what I did: Hunt Knights, you learn REAL fast.
