Hi there just your friendly neighborhood Jedi coming in with some ideas based onthings i have seen with some of the newer Respec BHs.

Seems more than not lately I have been hunted by Respec BHs. THis in itself is not a problem, but what I have been encountering got me thinking. Since you did a respec to bypass the investigations line most of you have no idea how to hunt a mark effectively.

I get tells all the time from Bounty hunters that are similar to "Hey, My droids arent working what planet are you on?" and similar messages. it would seem that most are attempting to take a PC mission fresh out of the gate, and by their skill it would also seem that they are very new to PVP. (now this is not meant as a generalization some respec BHs have been very good.)

My Advise:

1) first take some NPC missions that way you can get used to finding your marks, and using droids efficiently. This will help more than just grabbing the first Low level Jedi mission you cna find, and going after him.

2) go to the Rryyat trails and walk all the way through them. Learn the layout as many of your grinding marks will be here. Also doesnt hurt to go to the Myydril caves also as alot of people are gravitating there.

3) PVP. Icannot stress enough. No matter what template you have if you have only done 1-5 duels in your career and you go against someone who has alot of PVP experience you will die pretty much all the time. PVP is alot different then PVE. I would reccomend dueling your friends/guildmates etc..etc...

As I said hunting Jedi is not a simple grab a mission and go get paid type of a thing. It takes planning and practice. Believe me the JEdi you hunt are constantly practicing so they can kill you, so they don't loose the experience they have spent along time grinding.

excuse me, but you're a respec jedi!

The original jedi poster already stated there isnt anything wrong with being a respec BH, so why would him being a respec jedi matter. I do not understand this whole negativity towards respec. To respec someone must have had comparable skills in something else to respec therefore I say they have put their time in.

Good on you Mr. Jedi for giving us BH's some advice, you seem like you would be a worthwhile, respectful and honourable mark to hunt. I wish you well.

Used 1 respec on my Jedi, and that was to change some boxes around out of defender. (didnt want to be another FOTM)

So I did not gain anything from respec thank you.

It's nice to see that even when you try to help someone do something better that in the end will only get you hunted more you get flamed for something that doesnt even matter lol.
