Tenminutes before the server reboot today I went to a town to buy two Belbullab ships for friends. Got a tell from someone asking about ships, so I gave him the wp too. I get off the shuttle and immediately get a /duel /endduel from some random jedi. I ignore this and put it down to jedi paranoiaand go to the vendor. A minute later I get another /duel challenge, so I ignore this too since I'm searching the vendor.
Whilst talking to the guy I gave the wp to, I realise I'm surrounded by four toons. They all go away again. I buy the ship, then I get a tell:
"I'm not coming out so you may as well give up"
I answer with, "What? Are you the one who just used /duel /endduel on me?"
"No, that's an exploit. But you didn't attack any of my friends so you must be here for me."
I spent a few minutes trying to explain that no, I wasn't hunting him/her, but that's pretty irrelevant.
So, why is this so strange? Well, for these reasons:
1) I'm wearing bounty hunter armour.
2) A look at my bio shows my template off pretty easily - MAster commando / Master BH (not really a jedi hunting template)
3) I arrived on the shuttle and stood there for a few minutes chatting.
4) I wasn't carrying a weapon.
5) I wasn't buffed.
6) This was about 5-10 minutes before the server reboot.
Now I don't know what level the jedi was, maybe low enough to be worried. I don't know and I don't care since I don't hunt jedi (I like the NPC missions and BH supports commando better than anything else).
What I'm wondering though is...
Are there really bounty hunters out there who are so stupid as to arrive by shuttle next to their mark, unbuffed and unarmed, wearing armour that clearly says "I am a BH" and then stand there for a few minutes (bearing in mind there was about to be a server reboot) before going into a vendor tent and just standing there?
I think that the thing that offended me the most was that the jedi and his friends thought I really was that stupid.

So, asking anyone here, just for fun, what's the stupidest approach you've ever seen from a BH?

So maybe next time I should put the Master BH tag up as well, just to really make the point that I'm not hunting a jedi?

I don't think that a BH is the issue. Seems our jedi here is a little paranoidon the ganja.

God I hate /duel /endduel. Everywhere I go 100 freaking times a day this crap happens to me, even if I'm not after anyone. I also get the paranoid freaks sending me tells from time to time asking if I'm after them, as if I'm going to say yes if I am... /twitch

Your story is pretty funny..... stupid noob jedi getting on the terms. I always wish I had missions for those ones.
I was on my jedi once...long ago, and a BH came flying by me on his swoop- agro'd. When he was flying by me, I had just sat and typed /logout. I stood up real quick and threw my saber at him, he kept flying by. Flew off my radar, so I sat there and waited for about a minute. Then I sat down and logged out, but right before I logged, I saw the red dot on my radar again. I thought that was a funny approach by a BH.
