Thread: Not able to burstrun, mount bike, KDrecovery, or attack. whats up?

I just had this problem. Does anyone know what it is caused by?
I was out at the krayt graveyard on a mission and this started to happen to me. I got lucky and a krayt corpsed my mark but I'd like to know why that happens for future reference. He started to run so i tried /burstrun. no luck. called my bike and tried to mount it. no luck. got close and tried to attack, once again, no luck. then i got kd'd and couldnt KD recov. thats when the krayt kicked in lol. anyway, anyone know what causes this?

I had more "You cannot Knockdown Recovery while Knocked Down" yesterday than I've had in the entire time since the CU. Every single time I was KD'ed it happened. I also have had tons of problems mounting vehicles when calling them to catch up to running jedi. Especially on Tat and Dant. It's retarded that they can't get the bugs in this game fixed. I mean wth did that hotFIX do? Friggin worthless.

I had this happen to me also so I just hit the escape button about 5 times and it seemed to clear everything up. No idea why it happened though.

the KD recovery bug has been beaten into the ground. I don't expect any new revelations any time soon
The /mount and /burstrun bug has been driving me insane for quite some time. I've also found that it bugs other slash commands such as /find, /deathblow, and sometimes I can't attack at all. This is just a hypothesis, but I think if you've been eating parwan and try bursting too soon it messes up. Not positive though.
I haven't heard about pressing escape a few times as another person suggested, but I'll be sure to try. Usually what I do is do a /find starport and when the blue arrow comes up, I know I'm unbugged. No idea how to fix it, just check to see if it's fixed itself

Be aware that the pressing of escape a few times to fix could have been a fluke.

nope that should do it let cooldowns cool down tap esc and everything should work again

This happend to me several times to. I used burstrun in kadaara to go to the terminal faster get the mission aso...
Once you travel to another planet it looks like you can use burstrun again but actualy the timer is bugged and it still needs some min till you can use burstrun again.
Until the burstrun cooldowner is ready so you can use burstrun again you wont be able to mount, attack, burstrunand whatever...
Only thing i can tell you is not to use burstrun if you dont need it.

The bug lasts several minutes and I can perform all sorts of other actions at normal speed, such as move, chat, open datapad/inventory, etc. Now I have experienced chat lag (movement/UI/combat uneffected, but messages display later than sent), so I'm not saying that isolated lag isn't possible... but have you ever experienced this bug yourself? In my experience it doesn't seem like lag.

I've had the not able to mount my bike thing, but this was on tatooine, and tat is horribly laggy on my server.

Got a bug today where I cannot call my BARC. I can call my X-31 and a swoop but not my barc. My Barc was diabled and I restored it with a kit, called it once, used it, and stored and havent been able to call it since.

I found this out a long, longtime ago. Unfortunately this isn't the same kind of "bug" that can and will prevent you from KD recovery etc. Hitting escape, or "letting the cooldown timer run down and tap escape once" is wishful thinking at best.
Only thing i can tell you is not to use burstrun if you dont need it.
