Thread: This is a sad day ...
- Jedi have received nerfs that have made them VERY vulnerable to certain templates of BH's
- BH's also have received nerfs that have made it more difficult to hunt/kill the Jedi.
The solution is simple : THE ANIMOSITY MUST END !
BH's and Jedi should not be fighting each other on these boards. The only thing that is achieved when BH's and Jedi do that is more nerfs for each other.
We really should point the finger at the people who are truly to blame : SOE !
As your cliche Jedi/BH FLOTM I see both sides. And the fact remains that if any BH's who complain about Jedi being overpowered ever actually played Jedi they would see that they are not anywhere near as powerful as you may perceive...
And if any Jedi would play a BH.. they would see the exact opposite is true as well...
This is being foolishly optimistic.. but maybe we could get together and not argue over who is overpowered and "sploiting"
and focus more on how this game can be drug out of the gutter it is laying in....

You'll find that a lot of the Jedi actually play BH with their alt to learn what they're going up against so they do know better. Bounty hunters dont have that option though but i doubt they think jedi are that uber once they've taken down a few. The Jedi V BH thing is always going to attract nerf calls and people screaming out exploits etc because its player v player and people want to do it because its exciting.

I agree... man i was so exilerated the time I received my first BH .. and I was equally excited the first time hunting a BH ..
My point is the problem is that these Jedi/BH that scream for nerfs just dont know how to play their templates. Admittedly there are things that do need fixed.. but come on... just because a BH owns you or a Jedi beats you.. it doesnt meant that they are overpowered necessarily
And as far the PvP . .YES !!! Lets have more of it !! I want all they can give us.. just am tired of the PvP turning into childish crap.
Look how they made it.
It takes someone to reach jedi at least 4-5 months, just to initiate level. After all that invested time, I would think these players would expect their characters to be more powerful than the non-jedi chars. Makes sense right?
Problem: Even with the silly nerfs, PVP is all in all decided by how many jedi you have in your group. So that's what it's come down to. Jedi.
Next Problem: Everyone is going jedi, except for a minority. What type of PVP does that leave for the rest of us? Support groups that can't do crap on our own. (Believe me, the time is coming, if it isn't here already)
Result: Those non-jedi who don't want to be forced into jedi prof will either stop pvp or leave game. Jedi dance with glee.
Personally, I think when SOE created the Jedi, they should have made it a regular profession, and required a different and easier path to it. Before you dissenters speak, bear in mind that I don't give a darn what you say. I don't care if you spent 5 months of your lives to become jedi, tough noogies. The only way to solve this problem is to balance the Jedi with the rest of the profs ( and stop BH v Jedi as a result) so there won't be anymore nerf wars.
Oh yeah. One last thing. I don't care.
so which is it dude? are BH underpowered or jedi?

That would cut the professions down to talented honorable PvPers who know what they're doing and are mature enough to not do all this sh!t. You say that, but what that really means is that Bh will start forming networks so they never attack with less than a 2:1 advantage. Honorable PvP'ers? my job is to freaking kill you. that means I will jump you when you are fighting 2 krayts, db you when you get incapped from a duel, bribe your groupmates not not heal/ transfer force to you. ect.
