Thread: So I killed a Jedi..and he's mad

(I posted this in the Kettemoor forum, but I am also going to post it here since there are more readers here.)
Hello,
My character's name is Elrech Rewsk, and I have recently become a Bounty Hunter. Not through the respec, but by actually going through the profession. You can ask anyone in my guild about this, as most of them would know. I talked about Investigation a lot as I was grinding it. I'm not a seasoned BH, I am very new. I have had 7 Jedi fights, 2 of which I have won.
The second one happened tonight against Thimasrow. I got my mission from Kaadara as usual, and was delighted that it was a Dantooine mission. This meant most likely that they weren't hiding in a house. So I go to Dantooine, track the target, and I get to him. He's in a group fighting bols, I believe. I target him, go prone, and cover up. I try to shoot him, and mind you, he's moving around, but I can't see him to shoot him. So I get up and move closer. I don't bother going prone. I look at the target, no AFK sign at all, not that I was looking for one. But one was NOT there. I see his health is going down, so I underhand shot him. He goes down. Almost immediately he gets up and runs off, sending me a tell saying, "I'll pay." This happened right after I engaged him. I don't give in, and claim it's a job. I kill him. I didn't have to DB him because he had been incapacitated two times before, I guess. I get paid 225,000 credits. Then the tells start coming in. I'll post two images containing our conversation.

The thing that bothers me, he clearly wasn't AFK, and if he was, he was obviously back. He started running. You don't stand in a bathroom peeing and sense your character being attacked and instantaneously teleport back to your chair. So, how many other people get Jedi to try and turn "half the server" against them when they simply play the game and do their job? As you can see, I was even nice about the whole thing. I never insulted him or anything.
I would also like to point out that out of all the Jedi I've had missions on, he is the only rude one. All others have congratulated me and told me it was a good fight. I have often even asked for tips on how to improve myself after beign killed by my mark. They always help out. One time I saw it was a Jedi Master and just dropped the mission, told her I had her mission, and then went inside her house and was amazed by the CA and AAs she had.

People can be unpleasent. I've hunted jedi for a while, now im not a god at it. But i've been around, there are some great people. (There was a jedi who i chased halfway across talus and we fought off and on till finaly we dueled and now were friends
)
) And then there are some total jerks who bring there friends down jsut to hassle you.

Any jedi who walks away from there computer without getting under cover of a house or cloaking is a retard. They have to be looking over there shoulders every minute of the day, leaving your toon out in the middle of the planet while in a group when you're in the pisser, if your own damn fault.
Good job mister, I would have done the same thing. As for the jedi being an ass, there's no way around that. There are jedi in my guild who do the same thing. It's a game, they were beat by someone who is able to play there template better than they are. Just let it roll off your back

of course he gets mad every jedi gets mad each time they get killed. and bounty hunters gets mad if they get killed by a jedi

wow, that has got to be the most immature group i ever saw. I love it how jedi think they can do something to you, like get 40 jedi to kill you or something. but the worst they can do is spam you... real mature.

Weather he was afk or not you should have killed him. If he crosses the line after the kill, /ingore. Nice job.

I wouldnt even have entertained the thought of apologising dude....If i was afk i would have made sure i was safe from attack (or had a bucket beside my pc for such an eventuality)

Yeah i find this sometimes that jedi start saying one of a few things (and in brackets my actions or responces).
1) I was AFK. (sometimes true, but if they dont respond before they get to half health then i will disarm and stop.)
2) I was being attacked by mobs. (Yes you were and thats why i took this as my chance to get a kill on you while you were distracted by other creatures you and you group could kill in 2 seconds if they really cared about you.)
3) I was just attacking mobs andI didn't have any force left(this is my fav as most of the time if they say this they still throw out loads of force pushes and force heals.)
4) Why don't you pick on a full templated jedi. (Again a favorite and goodresponce. "Because thanks to all the jedi whining and moaning we now dont get names on the missions when we select them so its completely random, and also I happen to have lost my large list of jedi names and the templates they have.")
5) Oh well done you killed a half template jedi, how many full templates have you killed. (Preaty much same responce as above but add. "And most full templates are almost imposible to kill because when you do get anywhere near killing them they just cloak or force run off, or both.)
anyway thats a few of them....
Lamest jedi kill of mine - Jedi in minging outpost is in a duel by the starport. I land about 10 seconds before he gets incapped, i walk over and DB cos his oppenent didnt heal him.
Best jedi kill of mine - Fight against a person from exile on chimaera, lasted 40 mins and only after about 30 of them did i realise he had used a focused crystal on his health.
Funniest jedi kill of mine - Walk into a city hall tracking my jedi. Jediuncloaksand asks me what i want (after checking my profile for a MBH badge), one thing led to another and the jedi dies in 10 seconds. (checks my profile again after respawning in the clone center and seesMBHtitle above my headhe missed.)

well,
as a jedi and a ground (NOT RESPEC) BH, this is why there is so much animosity. As a jedi, i EXPECT to be hunted. By RP'ers, BH after the cash or PvP people. Not once have i bad mouthed them, ITS WHAT THEY DO
As a newly temped BH, i am dreading my first Jedi mark. i understand how strong a jedi can be, especially if they understand their temp.
As a result of encounters, i have made some good friends on Chim, of the opposite faction, ALL bh, and all willing to help me learn more. We have even duelled so we can learn our characters abilities, each others, and laughed whilst doing it.
Relevance to the OP? add ignore them, congratulate yourself on a job well done
to the 2 Jedi - U are obviously mentally weak, young, and complete muppets. Its what a BH does - he kills people
