I grab a bounty track him to within 500 meters. Send out the identify droid. Get his name. Send out the tracking droid. Then it says he is not online. Since I have his name I add him to my friends list. He IS online. But my droids won't track.....the return of the not online bug? Is it something jedi can do on purpose?

Did you track him to a starport? Once they launch it sais theyr offline.

As of pub 23 i noticed a new bug, could be the issue. I have 2 pcs, and had my 2 non jedi on at the same time, i logged one off, but it was still on my friends list as showing on. Not only that it was still standing in from of me without an LD above its head. I sent it a tell, it was off line.It stayed there for like 10 minutes eventhough my laptop had been long ago been turned off. I could examine it, duel it, follow it. I could not sent it a /tell. I could not heal it either, invalid target. Pub 23 is bugtastic.

Heyseus Kristos (yes my jedi was jesus, watch me turn water to brandy) Account ends Jan 1st

Fleaflicker (wookie who played the bass and had fun with blasters) account ends jan 1st

Wanmo Cervesa (name means One mo' Beer and was a MBE) also leaving in jan.
Sidori Cervesa (Barmaid, BH/Ranger) leaving in jan too.

This happened to me. Was farming Imps in Theed (grab Imp Jedi bounty during prime time, send a seeker, chances are he'll be pvp-ing in theed. If says he's off world, drop and grab another) and my seeker updated. I assumed he was in Theed so I went to get my armor from my bank. Turns out the WP was just 200m away. I tabbed and found him running into the SP but I couldn't get a shot off. Did add his name to the friends list but droids said he was offline. I launched into space and there he was.

This is actually nothing new, droids have been reporting "not online" while in space for awhile, although sometimes it gives the garbled system text.

Not sure if this is what happened to you or what, but has happened to me

Yup, when it does that you can launch into the same area of space and track him with seekers
