Thread: Does this happen to other bh or is it just me?

It seems that a lot of jedi have come to know my toon and I think a lot of them want revenge. I've noticed that shortly after i kill a jedi or shortly after chasing one offline I will be approached by a non jedi with a duel request. Since it happens a lot I'm starting to think that a lot of jedi are using thier alts to try and duel me so they can db me and make me lose my mission if i still have it or to get revenge for just killing them by giving me wounds and bf thats hard to heal now-a-days, or they are having friends do it for them.
I never duel anyone since it means i might fail my mission and get no money. Does this happen to other BH? Do jedi really think a master bh is going to fall for this. I know some people just want to duel but you have to question it when it happens a lot in conjunction with a jedi mission.
And no i don't mean duels from people while fighting a jedi, i mean shortly after killing him or he logs off, like his alt is trying to kill me lol. This happens to em alot.

After chasing a grinding mark to a safe house, one of his jedi buddies challenged me to a duel. Well, I was bored so I accepted. About 5 minutes into the fight, who comes running out of the house, but my mark. He joins the fight thinking he has the upper-hand. I, of course, type /endduel and proceed to take out the mark. That was a sweet one.

if someone besides the jedi DBs you, you won't lose your mission, though I wouldn't bother dueling them in any case.

30 minutes (NO longer) from the time I go overt...I am a corpse with 3 or more Jedi standing over me. Happenes EVERYTIME. I showed this to a friend that didn't believe me. I even went to Talus to prove my point. I guess thsi comes from killing IPMs AND REBs.

This happens to me too everytime I go overt. I haven't made a name for myself. Not that I know of at least.

This happened to me a few times, but the Jedi and the "dueler" were in the same guild. So I accepted and killed the "dueler" too. Then I got hate tells saying I cheated/exploited/whathaveyou. I tend not to hunt my faction but I will if the money is right. They ask me to come back overt and they will "show me" who's boss. So I do, and kill them both again... They continue with excuses of why the lost. I just don't understand some people. What ever happened to: die, clone. /tell (person who just killed you) Good fight! Look forward to the next one!
Just remembered my other point: I get the b|tch ass Jedi lives on Kashyyyk. He logs in there, logs out there, and never leaves. I've gotten his mission damn near 20 times in the last 2 weeks, checked on him, and found out that he was, you guessed it! On Kashyyyk. So a few days ago I sent him a tell asking if he ever leaves Kashyyyk. He taunted me to come find him. Now he's been messing with me for a week now. Everytime I log on, I get tells from him, telling me where he's NOT on Kashyyyk. "I'm NOT in the Trail", "I'm NOT in the Myydril caves" I have searched for this SOB multiple times in each instance of the caves and trails, but to no avail. He's good at hiding. But the entire time, he's telling me who he has NO equal in PvP, how he'll never lose, blah blah blah....
That's what I get...

Same thing with the non-Jedi players, but they just stare at me, never dueling me. They're from the same guild as the Jedi mostly, so I assume he went on Guild Chat and started talking about me.
When you go overt, you're probably going to die soon. It's a simple fact of going overt. Everyone's ended up on their back with three Jedi standing over them at some point... non-BHs, too.

Yeah we should take our deaths outside of bh/jedi combat as compliments. I guess some of us are gettign to be well known on our servers lol

i don't understand...
did the Jedi send you a duel request? because that is the ONLY way they could have initiated combat with you.
if you have a Jedi's mission, you are the ONLY one of the two who can innitiate combat between the two of you, the Jedi cannot.
i am not calling you dishonest... i just don't understand how this happened. were the two of you both 'overt' as in special forces and engaged in the GCW?!?!

Meh, this seems to happen to ANYBODY who goes Overt nowadays. It really isn't even worth going overt now unless you are a Jedi.

Yes, I agreed to duel one of his jedi buddies for fun. In the middle of the duel, my mark came out of the house and began attacking me as well. I /endduel with the jedi i was dueling with and db'd my mark.
