If some of you can try this out... get a Jedi friend with Force Cloak. Target the Jedi and have them attempt a cloak while standing next to you. Tell me if it breaks the target.
I had a fight the other night that has been bugging me... I don't know if it was just a glitch or whatever or an exploit. More testing needs to be done. I was in a big PvP battle and I had targeted a specific Jedi and was trying to take him out... the weird thing was that like every few seconds, my target would automatically break and I would have to retarget the Jedi.
I know that if a Jedi cloaks, when he decloaks, it breaks the target and you have to retarget... but I want to know if it is possible for people to set up a macro that will cause them to try to cloak every few seconds so that they are constantly breaking someones target on them. If this can be done... /sigh.

It will break the target if a jedi cloaks - but remember they need to be a certain distance away to actually activate cloak.

Right. What I need tested is, see if even the attempt of cloaking will break the target if the Jedi is in close range.

I have a suspicion that someone made a macro that constantly attempted to cloak in order to make people drop their target. It's just a suspicion and I'm asking for proof before I use the "E" word.

thing with cloak is that if we press cloak while cloaked, it uncloaks us, so if someone uncloaked within 20m of people their macro wouldn't recloak them... by rules...
