Thread: Noob Bounty Hunter Wants A Tip

After reading the pub 20 notes, if you want a tip, go be a chef.
To the specific question, Jedi can block flamethrowers as far as I know. I know they used to be able to, and I'm pretty sure that never got changed, though the fire DoT would get through - just not the actual shot itself.

not sure if this is still an issue, or if it even was originally, but i heard from someone that the flamethrower could agro other creatures near your bounty.

Yes the flamethrower is a AREA attack so if you attack out in the wild expect the zoo to come for you. I have a Commando/BH on another server, hated it. Commando was broke to at that time, not sure if it still is. The DOT doesnt always stick and the attacks are usually blocked. Good fun though.

Ok, I'm aNovice bounty hunter and a (2, 2, 4, 2) Commando and I need a tip. I've noticed that Jedi obviously can reflect blaster bolts. Well, would using a flame thrower gain an advantage of some kind? Just need the knoledge for the future.
