The terms do not show just online jedi, read the patch notes again

A mission is only generated when the jedi is online, It does not disappear when the jedi logs off. So the terms could have lots of offline jedi on it. Also if the jedi logs in and logs out say 10 times, will 10 missions be generated?

It does not disapprear from you datapad...but you will not be able to select a mission from the terms if the jedi is not online.

im guessing either the devs will impliement some sort of decay effect for mission within the terminal listings cache ( as in within a certain amount of time if no other visibility is gained and the jedi is listed as being offline ....the jedi mission is erased) ... or after each mission is taken ... it will be removed from the terminals ....

but to be honest i cant see the terminal missionlistingsbeing refreshed frequently enough to only list online jedi and discard those missions generated while the jedi were online ... perhaps at a slower interval .. but not frequent enough where the possibility of you picking up an offline mission is nil....

Profession: Bounty Hunter

  • NPC Bounty missions will now work properly. The Mark will be of appropriate difficulty based on the difficulty of the mission

  • Moved Player Bounty Hunting to the Master Bounty Hunter skill Box

  • Jedi missions are only created for online Jedi, the Jedi may go offline after the mission is created

  • Jedi missions display Faction instead of Jedi name

  • Jedi missions all display a payout of a random number between 45000 - 52000 credits on the terminal but may pay a bonus amount based on level and time since the Jedi was last killed

Wheres does it say there that missions will be removed from the terms for offline jedi?

all its says is a mission is only created for online jedi, if missions are removed from the trems, how long after they log are they removed?

All mission terminal missions will auto decay from your Datapad after 3 days (Destroy missions, Bounty missions, etc)

I think they're using create for what happends when you press refresh. Each time you press refresh, the missions that appear are essentially "created". So I'm guessing refresh will simply never display missions on jedi that were offline when the game requested a list of missions.

Caix has it spot on

If a jedi is online, his online status is probably sent to the server and bh terminals, and his mission will be viewable if you refresh. If he goes offline, hisonline statusis NOT sent to the server and bh terminals and his missionwill NOT be viewable if you refresh.

If you have taken the mission however, and it is in your datapad, he can go offline and the mission will still be there in YOUR DATAPAD. So you STILL need to /addfriend him to check see if he logs.

It's simple. i cant understand why some people cant get it.
