Thread: How should I slice these?

First off theres this Elite Carbine. I can't slice damage so I was thinking of slicing full speed to get it to the speed cap. What do you think on this? I could also mix speed with critical but I'm not sure which would be most beneficial.
Secondly there's this Advanced Laser Rifle. I can hit the slicing cap of 1183 with only one slice but I could also reach the speed cap with the full 12% Speed Slice. What would you guys suggest?

crit level three for the carb.

Anybody else have any suggestions or recommendations? I'm sort of weary about getting the carbine fully critical sliced but if enough people think it's the way to go I'll go along.

you cant damage slice it and theres no point in speed slicing it with your modded speed.

similar question:
i have a max damage capped HLR (1149 - ok one point from cap) and i think i read somewhere that i should damage slice it, because then i increas the min damage, making the jedi mitigation a bit less.
if not, i WILL slice for crit in it. i think the min is 483 atm, so an 8% increase will boost it over 500 min.

Nah, get a full speed slice on it. 1.4 modded speed isn't very good.
