Thread: So i need some major help cause I have not played in months and....

I feel like a complete A**hole and a newb because of all this CU garbage and respec crap and whatever. Spent the last 5 hours just reading all of these boards and threads to try and get an idea of what my next move is but I still feel lost. Logged in once for few mins but wont let me move cause I need to respec (something about negative skill points) but I am TERRIFIED of not picking the right stuff cause god knows what that can do in this game.
Anyway, back ja,/feb I stopped playing but played since launch and was bh hard way since launch. A few months before stopping I was MTK/4000 bh/0040 pistols with some force columns in ranged and melee speed (btw that pistol 4 is in the defense column..sry fi its wrong). So with that template I straight up owned 90% of the jedi I faced even 200k+ ones, but now i read tk blows for 1on1 jedi (which is all i did cause no guild) and it looks like i should get mbh/mr/something etc and jesus christ im jsut confused.
Sooooo what am i asking? I dunno really, i guess its just an old vet asking to be spoon fed because i dont want to spend another 5+ who knows how many hours digging through threads figuring out exacly what to do. Thanks for having some pity on old guys coming back, please help me

Whatever you do, make sure you use up all the available respec points when you chose your new template, or youll lose those and youll have extra skill points you cant respec.

melee is largly ineffective against jedi now. MBH is finally valuable, so most people take MBH with another ranged mastery. Pistols 0003 has a root, which keeps the target from moving for 15 seconds so its popular as well...and with how much damage jedi are doing now with powers or MLS, healer wouldnt be a bad choice either. Carbines can be nice for kiting, and paired with mbh and xxx3 pistols, it is very hard for your target to get within range to hit you. Rifles are what most people are doing though, because of the damage.

are there new character builders that i can test templates on ? All the old ones I used do not seem to work anymore and are still on the old system.

Haven't he a couple of days to try different respec?
I tell you master bh master smugler, concution shot and last ditch= the way to kill jedi
