I'm posting this on both the BH and Jedi boards. I ran this idea past my wife and she seemed to think it was a good one. Flame away, no worries... I'd just be interested to see feedback.
So here's my own personal little wish list....
- Everyone on the server has a chance to unlock their Jedi character in the same way that they currently have to unlock it.
- Once unlocked and created, your Jedi is then placed in a que to play on the server.
- Only 10 Jedi are allowed to be on the server – 5 light, 5 dark.
- If a Jedi dies by a Bounty hunter, it is permadeath and the Jedi has to start over by creating a new character.
- If the Jedi dies via a creature or NPC, they have three lives to go through before they are place back into the que, but it’s not permadeath and NO skill or XP is lost.
- If the Bounty Hunter fails the mission, the Bounty Hunter is placed on the BH terminals for 1 hour, and also becomes attackable by all “Dark” Jedi for 1 hour.
- The Jedi should not use a lightsaber or force power inside a city. If the Jedi uses either of those two within city limits (Player or Game city), then the Jedi is place on a terminal for 1 Real-Time week.
- If the Jedi uses their power power outside of a city limit, the Jedi will not gain visibility unless there are NPCs or players within 50 meters… Note: If the Jedi is grouped with players, the Jedi do not gain visibility unless the players that a grouped with the Jedi are of opposing faction.
- After dying, the Jedi is placed in the server que again, either having to wait to log on again with a new character or simply using their old one, depending on how they died. (Again, death by a BH is permadeath and dying 3 times via a creature or NPC is simply death, but the Jedi is allowed to use the same character with no skill loss)
- The Jedi doesn’t get to come back on the server until another Jedi (of his kind – either light or dark) is killed.

- Only 10 Jedi are allowed to be on the server – 5 light, 5 dark. You are on to something here but this needs to be raised to 25 light 25 dark. The reason I say that is that there are so many jedi out there now, it's really not fair to limit them to just 10 per server.
- If a Jedi dies by a Bounty hunter, it is permadeath and the Jedi has to start over by creating a new character. 3 strikes and you're out.
What if the BH is grouped?
- The Jedi should not use a lightsaber or force power inside a city. If the Jedi uses either of those two within city limits (Player or Game city), then the Jedi is place on a terminal for 1 Real-Time week. Should be a longer amount of time. maybe 2 weeks
I like the opposing Jedi condition, nothing is sicker than seeing agroup of Rebel and Imperial jedi helping each other grind.

I think it is an awesome idea.
Only very hard to change a game from the current situation to that situation. You should have posted this when they still were designing SWG ![]()

soe won t never limit jedi number. how will they explain to olders that their months grind has been cancelled?
It should have been like this from the start. now it s too late.
But "jedi challenge" is a way
ps: im not jedi lol

wont never cancels out to will.
real post now though, i don't think there should be permadeath but something like it thats also similar to the que thing. make it so if a jedi dies 3 times, they can't log into their jedi toon for a week or something...all theirlots would still be accessible by their alt though, as could their bank and items just in case they had an auction or something.

I think this idea (although not fully worked out yet) is a great one. But I wouldn't waste your time with it anymore as its never going to happen. SOE have to keep the Jedi happy or the game dies.
