Thread: My First Day Hunting Jedi

So I got MBH about a week ago and have stopped grouping with my 2 brothers to help them level. I figured since I havea ton of time to kill today I'll hunt Jedi all day long.
14 Hours later.... who knows how many droids wasted....trips to the Terms.... flying around...
I've found a grand total of 6 Jedi online and not sitting in their house. 2 more were in their houses AFK of course.
Unbeknownst to me, until today, my guild doesn't want us BH's to hunt Rebel Jedi. So they are out unless I want to get kicked form the Guild.
So I don't kill 5 of the Jedi I track down, even though 2 would have been gravy.
Last Jedi of the day I find is an Imperial Jedi. My luck is changing!
I target him and prepare to fire... "Invalid Target" What the hell? I send tells to 3 other MBH and they ask all manner of questions and in the end have no idea what this is.
I leave and come back 30 minutes later and target him again... "Invalid Target"
I have his Mission. He's not cloaked. He's clearly in range. I'm a "Rebel on Leave" but was told that doesn't matter. I have no idea. Any thoughts?
Also, I play SWG for one reason only. To be a MBH and hunt other players. Now I really like the people in my Guild, but I'm looking to either respec out of MBH or leave the Guild.
I'm leaning towards leaving the Guild. Online friends are nice, but Bria seems to have a zillion Reb Jedi and about 5 Imperial Jedi. I love my MBH and really don't want to leave what makes my game fun.

He's not sitting on the bugged bridge in the ryyat trail is he?
If so, write his name down, screenshot him sitting there, /report him and submit a CSR ticket about his obvious exploiting of the bugged bridge.

dont think thats the case. when that happens you get the "you cant see that target" message.
I was getting this message tonight alot while I was duelinga few people.
Maybe it is a nice new bug to add to our collection.

Yeah, I just thought the new patch may off changed it. I'll have to keep my eye open for the "invalid target" message.

invalid target bit sounds fishy but its just hard luck if they are afk in a house theyre players with toons too so if afk in a house is what is fun let it be so

radiant is the same way about jedi, at least 80% are rebel on our server too...try working out a deal with your guildldeader. maybe agree you won't hunt jedi in allied guilds, but ones in other rebel guilds are fairgame.

I had the same message yesterday. The sad thing is, it let me root the jedi, then it didn't let me shoot him again all fight. I even took a cake jedi because i was bored and wanted to teach someone a lesson... a 76k jedi... normally i woulda downed him fast. Used my droid, realized he was on Talus, got to him, he was in ahunting party! I was excited. I get to him, i root him, and run close with my pistol, and he pulls out a blaster /sigh. I stand there only to see "Invalid Target" as he wastes my life away.

i had your problem hunting same faction jedi. didn't want to violate the guild. so round when CU hit i /guildremoved and joined Spy. now i don't have that problem because we can hunt either faction. if you are interested, look up Spy.

I am sorry, but when you have absolutely nothing to gain, and EVERYTHING to lose, like that xp you grinded for a few hours to get, (and no, not ALL of us are afk grinders on the rryyat trail, I personally favor the 2600 xp pikets on dant), of course their going to run. But when they abuse the LoS exploit, or use hit and run tactics w/ houses, thats going a little too far. But to the person who posted after you, please refrain from cursing on these forums, as some people, (personally I dont), will take offense and can get you reported.
