Thread: Which droid?

Hello,
I just grinded my butt off to get to MBH just in time for the change...sigh. Now I feel im going to need all the help I can get and wonder what droid you all prefer?
As far as I know theres the bomb droid and the R2. I cant find an R2 for sale anywhere,. Can we use the probe droid typeto help us and are they affective? I tried a bombdroid on a cl 80 npc mission. It just made the meh meh mip mip noise andexploded by the npc and didnt even damage him, just alerted him thus he started shooting at me. If this was a jedi knight I would have been chips. Maybe an R2 is more affective?

The best bomb droids around are the Advanced R3s loaded with 6 detonation modules and a few armor modules. They do 1000+ damage easily, but they are pretty expensive, also.
