I got a mark, and tracked the jedi padto talus. Jedi pad was in the process of destroying imp base but anyway he saw me and took out his rifle. And here im think 100k jedi, no problem for me. But I didnt know about the Startle Shot. If you havent dealt with it, it kinda cripples you, and cant heal or shot. So he has is just spaming Startle shot at me. I got him paralizedand tried to runand then he used stop shot on me. Cant run and cant heal. And soon I was dead. But i learned something, nice templateto have as a BH.

Wait the only time i know it stops healing is in knockdown when ya pin them there for another 5 seconds(startle timer is longer then 5 seconds btw) And why is it startle should get nerfed disarm is as much of a culpret and rifleman has a 3 in crowd control thus should have some abilities

You cannot do any action while startle is in effect, and they will both get "nerfed" (more like a fix actually).

I have allways wondered why everyone choose rifles instead of carbs/pistols. Please tell me why. (Pistols have worked out for me the last 3 months)

Rifles have longer range, and from testing I did, there is no more penalty for being hit by melee when holding a rifle. There's no downside to Rifles atm, where Pistols and Carbs have the shorter range. But Rifles don't get most of the cool specials. Startle is nice to get some heals off, keep someone kd'd for a min so you can gain distance, etc...but yeah, the spamming needs to be fixed.
And you can use stims while startled, just not the profession heals. So carry a lot of stims out of the crate.

It is easier to win with this template so all the respec kiddies went to this.
Theres nothing wrong with being a rifleman its just a shame that the proffession that is powerful at a certain time is the one that is abused by all the kids who want to win for their ego.

More range, much higher damage.

Heh, I went rifleman from the get-go, before it was cool to use rifles. Only reason I did was because the guys I hunt with, one was a carbineer, the other a pistoleer, so figured I'd round out the group and go rifleman. Works great, although I have never tried to spam startle shot, it does sound like an interesting way to win a fight....but, a bit cheesy at the same time. I may actually try it though, next time I am close to getting my butt kicked. I figure why not, the Jedi can run under a bridge to save there tails, I'll do what I can to save mine.

I wouldn't hurry into jumping the ftw-bandwagon, chained daze/root effects are being "fixed" in next publish.
