Thread: /duel exploit fix
no, that is too much trouble.
all they need to do is code a toggle into the game for auto decline, and roll the patch code back to pre-fix.

Only problem with auto decline is that could be the new warning sign that you are a BH, most people are too lazy to decline a duel and just walk away. Maybe they can just make it appear like dueling everybody else,make it so the BH can't accept but he/she can decline on their own.
/offer ride is not and should never be taken away....
a jedi getting away in a vehicle is very starwarsy.................. You guys are just getting lazy and feel the second you spot a jedi he should not be able to run, cloak, move , fight, fart, spit, or whatever else you deem as some advantage.
I'm sorry, but how many times did we see luke, obiwon and others in the movies get away under heavy fire at the last second? Loads..................
Get over the offer ride, and accept the fact you actually have to work to get your mark.
As for /duel, maybe you need to not be so dumb about stalking your prey.
I cannot tell you how many times a day i get random stupid ass tells from bh's...... they think they are being sneaky, but they are actually being STUPID. Or, they come up around you and just hang there, really doing nothing... or they are pretending to be doing something. I mean really, how stupid do you all think we are? When you get this every ten minutes, you get damn good at telling who the bh is.
You guys are your own worst enemy when it comes to your "right to first strike" quit whining about game mechanics and work on your own.

agree; as long as I can shoot the ride. If there is a TEF, and the jedi gets into someones vehicle, then that vehicle should also get a TEF. Otherwise, I agree.

agree; still, you have to know that this is not working as intended. It would be impossible to surprise attack someone if that person can /duel /endduel you and know you are there for him.
it does need fixing, but alot of times, the bh is very easy to pick out.

#2 No, they shouldnt be allowed to duel endduel you to see if you are attacking, thats really lame. you must hate pvp

You're conveniently avoiding the main complaint against /offer ride. It's not so much someone offering the Jedi a ride to escape, it's the Jedi's friends offering the BH a ride over, and over, and over to distract, lag, and/or crash the BH. THAT is the problem. As for Jedi accepting rides to escape, I agree with most of the others here that it's fine as long as the BH can shoot the ride.

I think you misunderstand the /offer ride thing they're talking about. They mean when the Jedi's friends spam the he!! out of you when you engage so that you lag so bad you cant fight effectively. That would be as much of an exploit as LOS and grouping with the Jedi so he cant fight back.
