Well said.... who wants to pay for a game in which you are the victim of organized extortion?
Amen. If there was only away jedi would have known they was going to be hunted. It was shameful to just spring this on them.
Oh wait, they did know and chose to grind it anyways.

I can understand, both points of view, but I always thought the forced pvp was kinda wrong, I just wish they would have had a better system that gave jedi the choice, to pvp or pve, and staying off ther terms is almostimpossible if you want to play and enjoy the game, not all jedi wanted to pvp, plenty did, or maybe do away with that exp loss, as a casual player to lose great amounts of exp would mean a week or 2 to re-grind and thats no fun. but maybe down the road they can come up with a better plan, who knows..
That would have been a good idea. This way those that wanted to be jedi, but not 'forced' pvp could be the watered down version of jedi that is in the pipes. Those that liked being 1.5x or whatever (all the way back to the pre-cu jedi power) could be, along with the risk of being hunted. Using this system they could have also put in smuggler bounties. Using a mission form that the smugglers have been wishing for since open. Those that wanted to be hunted could have run a riskier mission and those that didn't could run lesser ones and both have content.
I'd like to have hope that SOE/LA would figure out away to make the majority of people happy, but it seems they just care about maximizing profits. To do that they will capitalize off vets pre-ordering mustafar for many reasons (CH items comes to mind) then releasing this bombshell when it's too late to cancel. Combine this with the 'starter kit' thus making newer players who want jedi to buy it, and then RoTW and ToOW as opposed to the total experience which would only require the additional ToOW purchase.
Soe must be taking their queues form the oil industry. ![]()
