Thread: Thoughts
Why don't we get the basics of our profession fixed first, before we move on to anything else. I'm tired of seeing 90% of the posts around these boards saying BH needs to have this reduced or that nerfed. Nonsense, I'm tired of it being thought about as a class and not a skill point allocation, because in reality that is what this game breaks down into.
Give me 250 skill points and I will stack upon stack upon stack and waste any bh, any time. I actually started an alt for experimenting and I can do some pretty incredible things with 250. In reality, the essence of this game breaks down into 250 skill point allocation.
We've seen it posted time and time again. What do we get for 250 sp's?
No defense. Well I think i have +24 ranged
An entire line devoted to droids that move slower the higher you go
Sorry about that, I hit the key too early ![]()
Where was I, droids? Ok yeah they move slower as you go higher
Specials that are for the most part, just lumped together from other professions, in which those professions get them on much lower blocks. Fire KD is nice, but how often does it work? Am I unlucky? Never really works for me. Fast blast is a joke. The entire master block is a joke.
I am glad I spent points on trapping. Wow, I haven't used it since july when I made novice BH.
Rifle? Does anyone use this?
Small examples, but I dont want to rehash everything.
And we can go on and on and on. Point is, with other classes you can take the exact lines you want, and not want. You'll end up using what you take, thats why you are taking it right? And you can stack upon stackupon stack by doing this. You'll end up with huge mods to just what you want. We do not have that option. In taking master marksman and master scout I have quite a few things that I don't want and never use. All to be a bh, which compared to 250sp dabblers is a joke.
So instead of posting we need more risk to this or this should be that, fix the **edit** class first.
Dev's stop looking at individual professions and start looking at the stacking, please. I think you will see that we have ended up on the short side by a pretty big margin.

Rangers waited how long for their revamp and now get hosed totally. Poetic justice. Most of you know I have been a Scout since day 3 (the day my current main toon was born). I am not really happy to see Scout go by the wayside. I felt we filled a necessary slot in the SWG world although I felt there was a lot more we could have done if we were ever granted a revamp.Until the "great change" or whatever they want to call it, I am just gonna keep plugging along with my main and my alt.I would encourage y'all to keep an open mind and roll with the punches. Let the Devs do their thing. Yeah, I am not a fan of the devs on a daily basis, but who knows, maybe they got their stuff together for a change.Until then, wandering the environs of Mos Eisley with my alt, and all over with my main...JB
There's too much stuff to read, and it's hard to keep up. Are they doing away with creature harvesting??

At this time I am assuming so - it will make crafting much less complex and move everything to a loot-based system like you have with other games. However, that is just and assumption.
Awww
I guess we just wait and see...
