I'm about to start getting CAs and AAs to boost my MR skills, as well as prepare for MCM. I am always watching the trade forums, and I see that the higher level attachments sell for more. Unfortunately, I don't have the resources to go after the really good ones. Still, couldn't I achieve the same results, capping our modifiers like Rifle Acc. and Rifle Speed at +25, by buying smaller attachments, say a +6 here, a +8 here, and such, then putting them into an outfit or suit of armor, to stack them into the +25 bonus I'm looking for? I am pretty certain this is how it works, but before I start spending what credits I do have, I wanted to learn more about how this will work. Thanks.

Also, how general ranged accuracy attachments stack with rifle/pistol/carbine accuracy?

yes, they add up to a max of +25 in a single stat.

And general ranged accuracy counts different from rifle accuracy/etc so you can have a total of +50 accuracy

Just remember that you can not put two similar mods in the same clothing or armor piece or they will cancel out.

Example: If you put one aa with +10 rifle speed, and another with +9 rifle speed in your chestplate, the +9 would not count.

Another thing to remember about SEA. If you are using a 4 slot piece of armor or clothing and you put a 3 skill attachment in there, ect. +25 Ranged speed +25 Ranged accuracy +19 Ranged D, and you get another AA of +25 Pistol Speed and +25 Pistol accuracy and you also want to put this in the slot you will lose the +19 Ranged D. So your 4 slot will now be +25 across the board. SEA's will take the greater value over the lesser value. This is how it has been working however it has been buggy and not worked for a few of my friends.

Yes, you could achieve the same result by stacking a bunch of smaller attachments, but only if they are in separate pieces of clothing/armor. If you put a rifle speed +15 and a rifle speed +10 on the same clothing/armor item, you'd only get +15 total for that one item. You also ideally want to put your attachments in clothing/armor pieces that don't decay too quickly. This is why the high-end attachments are worth so much more--because you don't have to use up as many of your ideally-situated sockets to max out your mods.

General ranged accuracy mods will stack on top of whatever weapon-specific accuracy mod applies for the weapon that you have currently equipped. So if you are holding a rifle, you can have +25 rifle accuracy + 25 general ranged accuracy = +50 total possible accuracy bonus from attachments while holding that weapon. if you switch to a carbine and have, say, 10 total cabine accuracy in attachments, then your total accuracy bonus while holding a carbine would insteadbe 25+10 = 35 (added to whatever your base accuracy without attachments was).
