it seems that every jedi i fight these past couple of days has some uber Sabers. Even the NPC marks i fight have a higher damage. Has anyone else noticed any change to the amount of damage they are taking? I think the armor resist are not working correctly.

Am Quessing they got an armor break on you...right?.....I cant say I am experienced enough jedi fighter to compare how often this hapens vs not...I have 75% ressist on and they still get it to often for my taste....I run like hell when I see it.....its an icon I know too well lol....lovee to hear from really experienced jedi hunters about the ratios....just know when I see that brake I'm probably dead....600-800 dmg per is a big OWWWEEE

well...

first of all a 75% AB slice does not give you 75% chance to avoid armourbreak, it reduces the armourbreak effect by 75%, so yes you'll see them succesfully armourbreak you, but that additional damage won't be as bad

to the op: what the condition on ALL your armour pieces? resists start to drop from 50% condition, but in their infinite wisdom the devs decided not to how the dropped resists

Blood....your saying the additional dmg wont be as bad....are you joking??????????? I am seeing 600-800 dmg after a sabre break and around half that if none.....where are the jedis crafting sabres where you see less,,,damn i need that waypoint and will only pull missions from there after my planet probe ID.s them lol

ok pepe, let's just run the numbers....

I'm assuming you have recon armour, energy layered up to 8100

8100 reduces damage by 56.3%

armourbreak reduces you armour by 65%: 8100/1.65= 2835

2835 reduces damage by 27.17%

now imagine you had amourbreak III slicing (that 75% percent reduced armour break)

, then you rating is: 8100*(0.65/4)= 6783 = 51.61 % damage reduction (mmmm am I doing something wrong here? last time I got worse armour rating after AB with the 75% reduction)

Ahhh ok got you BM.....so then what stat can help you avoid a jedi armor brake all together if possible....quessing just higher melee stats? I have only been in a few jedi fights myself so not really experienced at that.....but I've followed my pre-cu friend B/H and he engages in many...runs 7 or 8 a night and wins at leasthalf.....lots the jedi actually runs like hell from him......dont get me wrong he always wins tho...my question is tho...is quite a few try and actually never get an armor brake on him.

well..if the armour break attack misses the AB does not get applied as far as I know, so you'd want to lower the to-hit chance of the jedi, by upping your defense, and lowering his accuracy (blinding shot ftw)
