When your fighting the jedi, check if he has "force Aura", and "force valor". If he has boththese, drop the mission becuase you wont be able to kill him.

Every jedi that I encountered must have had a force aura macro, because as soon as it wore off it came right back. I fought them with force aura on and was able to kill them, it just took a little while. Longest fight was about 30 minutes.
Can you answer my 2 questions above? Thanks much!

I'm MBH/MDoc and have a rifle that hits for over 500 DPS and i'm not even MR. I used to have Pistols 0004 for root.. and I loved it, not only could I stay out of range when I rooted, but I could do a lot of damage, and when root was about to be over, KD them and by that time is almost time to root again... or you can pick up the snare line in carbineer and root them, kd when root is over, then snare and slow them, by that time root should be ready to go again and they aren't going to be doing much running.

Root is nice to have.. I admit.. but if you have a carbine you are pleased with and is doing a lot of damage, you probally don't want to give it up... unless you pick up a good rifle.

Yea I love the carbine, but it's tough when they run. My CM snare lasts a good 2 minutes or so, but they still sometimes get away with their FR3. The problem is if I drop Carb 0400 and pick up Pistol 0004, then I will HAVE to use a pistol otherwise my accuracy and defenses take a huge hit. I did the numbers on them earlier and it makes a huge difference. I have a decent Featherweight FWG5 Pistol so maybe I'll just suck it up and start using pistols.
With using Carb 0400 and my carbine my base accuracy (without SEAs/Foods) is 200.
With using Pistols 0004 and a pistol my base accuracy (without SEAs/Foods) is 140.
I still miss quite a bit using carb 0400 and my elite carbine when jedi's have aura on. I hit probably 1 out 5-6 shots, unless I drink pyro but that only lasts a minute. So if I switched to pistols, my accuracy goes down even further.
Not sure what to do. I think the battles last as long as they do because the jedi has aura on and I miss half the time.
Frustrating sometimes. ![]()

MDefenders are exceptionally hard to kill if using aura/valor macros. I don't even bother using /trauma on them bc they don't need to heal much at all. My defender encounters always last 30-55 mins at a time. Bad thing is that you almost never hit them and they don't need to use their mind at all, but the good thing they usually don't have FR3. Also, macroing aura/valor takes away a good deal of force over time. It makes it much easier to stay out of range when using the CM snare.

Just out of curiousity. Are you using carb 0400 or pistol 0004 dabbler with your MBH, MCM template?

Pistol 0004. I use a Featherweight FWG with 369-966 dmg, 1.8 spd, +65 accuracy, and 65 SAC roughly along with /thyroid, /electrolyte, and /trauma as my debuffs.
Cool. I think I might change to Pistols 0004. I'm going to have to get a bunch of General Ranged Accuracy and Pistol Accuracy CA / AA's to make up for the lost accuracy. That's the biggest problem I believe is missing alot. Jedi fights would be over so much faster if we could actually hit 9 out of 10 shots. ![]()
Do you find yourself missing alot with your pistol? What AA, CA's do you use? What foods do you use?
Thanks. ![]()
