I play a Jedi ::boo!!!::

THe other day I had a single BH in 7k RIS armor attack me while running a quest. (tangent: two days ago I had two BHsattack me at the EXACT same time and they did NOT know each other - was the best fun ever - I won!) After the 15 mintues fight we had a nice discussion regarding game mechanics relating to the combat spam. The question we were attempting to review is "how come some of my attacks were not mitigated by armor?"

My first thought was his armor was broken. "Nope. It's all ADK'd" (yeah, he was good too...) I asked him to double check "Yep, everything is looking good. All have full condition and even wearing the belt." (hmm...didn't think anyone wore RIS belts...)

I express the time stamps of my attacks which were not mitigated. (there were actually only two attacks. One was around 900+ and the other was 1100+) Once he sees it he become shocked! I show the method of attack on my end which he did not.

Both attacks were different.

They both bypassed ALL mitigation inlcudig armor resistences.

I do not wear armor so I'm not "whining".

I'm expressing this because I want a fun game that we all can enjoy.

....and I don't want to hear excuses when I expand on my 40+ bountyhunter missions I've ruined in a row.

Did the guy have cyber arms? I had both ranged arms on my BH and noticed that

Igot hit with the armor hole alot. I have since dropped to just 1 cyber arm and I must say

that the armor hole is hit alot less. I have noticed thatsaber hit must target the arms or

body most of time because that was the hit that would slip by my armor.

Hope this helps. The extra range is nice with the arms but the armor hole hurts. lol

I have not identified "another" exploit if that's what you're asking.

When the two of us were engaged I had noticed in the combat spam that several attacks were not mitigated by his armor.

To answer the other question, I do not recall if he had cyber arms and honestly do not recall seeing them. Good question and that would be a warranted issue to watch for. You saying only "saber hit" or any type of saber attack was bypassing this?

Saber hit and body hit, will target the body area (this includes the arms) since there is no armor on the cybernetic, you get your full unmitigaged damage amount. That is the unfortunate cost of wearing cybernetics.

I think that is the condition not armor rating.

Saber hit seemed to be the one that got thru the armor hole the most. I did get hit with body hit i think before but most of

the time its saber hit.

I believe this is correct lol.

I've noticed a TON of damage done when I had a cyber arm. Took it off and guess what, no more big hits get through. Cyber arms come with huge disadvantages IMO. I see people with two arms and just know they are going to be the first ones that go down in PvP lol.

**lets not forget that a -10 accuracy is turns out to be -10%, I didn't notice that until I actually read the description of the mod in the stat sheet.....definetly not worth wearing a cyber arm. I had a total of -25% at one point with two arms **
