what is the story with non master loot?

I understand that if all you have is the novice box you wont get elite marks anymore but have they nerfed the loot for non-elites?

I am a master smuggler and was using the novice box to get my smuggler componants for slicing, but i have just done 4 missions and only got 4 simple tool kits! is this the norm now?

Yep, although I managed to get that RIS pic off of a normal mark the first day the change went in. Since then though it has just been simple toolkits and bugs. Oh well, not long until MBH for me.

luckley i looted a full set of BH schems from Bountys before they nerfed it but im MBH anyway now

Oh, and one locked container that somehow snuck in there......

I actually got a fluke of somekind....got a crystal, an AA, and a couple paintings off of marks as I was filling up my Inv 3 box after the patch went in.

But...it was before the patch was re-pushed so it may not mean anything. I've succesfully gotten lotsa bugs, toolkits, and intraframes since then. Which I'm fine with...it should be that way.
