Giles025, disarming shot is VERY good to have. I use it before I heal (stims or CM heal), before I pop a duelistic stance, before I use a state recovery, and sometimes while I have been rooted and need a breather from damage.
Another thing to look at though is what the rest of your template has.... if you are MRifles with that you may want to opt for warning shot since you have startle (similare to disarming).
Also, think about what the bonuses are.... for example if one tree is a pistol specific bonus (pistol defense) and you shoot carbine or rifle all the time, it would be worth much less than another tree, as far as mods are concerned.
I didn't know warning shot had a delay debuff, I know it removes 80 defense.
I like imp disarming shot between the two, that four sec delay can be used very creatively. Also, and I maybe wrong, it breaks macros when it hits. I had pistoleer at one time and it's been awhile.

Eh... kinda. If a macro has a timer between actions, it will simply not allow any actions qued within that time period.... but it won't break it like /dump does.
