ok, i got to 2444 bh, and i heard you can hack pve bases for xp. how do i do this?

Find a faction base, go inside (combatant) find the uplink terminal, use the radial and follow the directions. Takes a minute or so and you get 1k BHXP.

so i dont need to go to a terminal?

The only terminal you need to worry yourself with in this case is the bases uplink terminal.
