have ya made sure that the new skills ya been getting ya been changing on ya toolbar ? ie critical shot/improved critical shot/advanced critical shot... not sure if it is affected like that but worth a try if ya havent done so..

Rifles = dmg
pistoleer = crowd control

Trandoshan surpressor pistol => 120 points of pure elemental damage which will go through Jedi defences. I've no idea why elemental damage is that effective against Jedi, but for me it just works fine. Other than that, do what pistoleers are good at: keep him busy.

what are you doing with your other skill points? i had mbh/master pistols/4400 rifles and with a ion stunner pistol was outdamaging master riflemen with advanced crits and advanced quickdraws as the main attacks. while grinding xp i had to slow my shots to a crawl because people constantly complained about too much damage being done and they couldnt even get a single hit on a creature for xp.

DPS isn't how much damage u do it's how fast u attack, i'm MBH/master pistoleer/ master marksman and my damage is great

what are your remaining SP in? My alt's a MP MBH cm 4xxx and he has very little problems..

Also that pistol is pupped, no?

what level of jedi are you fighting and can you tell if they have a lot of defender? (armor absorbed, and aura/valor icons?) those can nullify any weapon signifigantly

you can do just fine with pistols, most carbines don't do more damage than pistols

the damage on your pistol is the standard damage on most peoples proton carbines

you have to use your root and disarm in order to keep the jedi on lockdown and depneding what you dabble in

you can pickup smuggler or medic, my suggestion is pickup smuggler so you will have a full range of crowd control moves plus that extra pistol mods to make you hit faster and harder

i reccomend taking some deterium pyro it will increase your damage and accuracy by a lot

you can't expect to take out a master defender in no time flat, you have to keep rooting, disarming, stunning and putting damage on them, slowly wearing their mind down

if you plan on picking up smuggler i'd take a lot of action food

if you get medic i'd dabble in action and mind

wow you gave us absolutely nothing to work with here....... maybe you could describe the specials you used, your template(the remainder of it ), your opponents template/bounty value.....
