Thread: MBH with MRifles have a question?

Ok first off i luv my rifles. I have a real nice Powercell advanced laser Top Notch. I have it ADKed, with this temp I can blow through any BH mark and hang in PVE. Bosses will take a while and if my healing holds I can do these without alota pain. Yes i have lost to them on occasion.
Now my question is if I drop my rifles for say MCM or Smuggler How much will I suffer still using my advanced ADKed laser rifle as only a MBH or should I get a MBH specific weapon ie. Covert retaliation.
I have had MR forever and looking for some more content but I enjoy the BH for the loot and cash ability it brings. Am i screwing up by dropping it. I want to still use my rifle but If i have to break it to adk another weapon of choice . I want to make sure im doing the right thing.

nothing will be bad about mcm temp only bad thign will be is the speed my alt is capped on the speed Gen ranged rifle gen accuracy and rifle accuracy so u might want to get that hopefully that helped

You could always go MCM, MBH, 4xxx Rifles, I was that temp for a while, i liked it alot, Carbines or Pistols might be better tho, MBH, MCM, xxx4 pistols is a popular temp atm.

Here you go. You wont suffer much from dropping MRF, youll have fire,poisons, thyroid, electrolyte drain, traumatize and hemorphage to compensate. Youll probably be more succesfull this way anyway
.Only reason im a Mrifleman, is that I also pvp a lot, and what can I say, i love my 1060 dps on my heavy lightning rifle .

Ya im trying to keep away to keep from breaking my rifle. The 4000 rifles may be the way go with MCM however with rifles I find the distance to apply the debuffs is kinda a hinderance as you have to close in to apply them. But Im finding out MCM and its healing ability is a team asset. So im leaning that way....

the first MAJOR thing youll notice going MCM is the drop in defense ... if you can hack the quick healing .. and dont mind the crappy defense by all means go MCM ... but i will always stick to the opinion that for PVE MCM isnt the way to go ....you can find much more PVE effective templates in dabbling beyond MBH... dont forget any mods you give up in template you can make up for with foods and CA's and AA's ...
i cant recommend ideas on other templates ...if you were curious ...
this is my honest humble opinion and im not under the delusion that my opinion is absolute and right for everyone ...
if you are interested in PVP thats a different story .. MCM is nice for PVP... but its not the only viable template in PVP either ...

Just think about what your Jedi hunts will be like. Sniper shot> kd > crit shot > headshot ect. ect. and paralyze when they run up to you. Lay down thyroid, electro, bla bla dots. Suppose if the apha strike doesn't work then you always have your CM stuff. Good combo. I'd do this too if I wasn't such a stat **edit**.

Thats where you are wrong ( no offense let me explain ). With MCM/MBh/0400 Carbineer,I was soloing Ancient Krayt Dragons, Gorax, Dark jedi masters npc etc.... and that, without even having any problems at all.
The defense with MCM/MBH and rifle 4000 or carbineer 0400 is enough, With mods like +25 rifle defense and ranged defense, + pica thundercloud, good luck taking that template down.
I still have my +25 carb speed + 25 carb accuracy +25 carbine defense 7000k energy resists armor set in my house and im MRrifle/mbh now. You dont know how tempting it is to go back mcm, your like a mini god if you play it right, and use all the foods you can.
Also take exo-protein wafers every 20 seconds, and youll mitigate 25% for like 7-8 minutes straight.

well assuming you arent using any ca or aa mods ... for me master BH .. rifles 4400 pistoleer 0004,, combat medic 3000 would be awesome in PVE and really easy to hunt krayt ... use a nice HLR .. forgeeet about it.. you got the defense mods the accuuracy mods ...the ability to stop a target in its tracks awesome healing and superior damage ...
