has anyone killed - or for that case - even seen a gorax yet? we are going hunting for them tonight...probably gonna be a massacre, but im letting my curiosity get the best of me!

Yes, ive seen them and hunted them in beta. Theyre in the desert on the far north part of Endor (on the plateau). They arent called gorax though...theyre called Marauders and if youre going hunting for them bring a party of around 15-20 ppl cuz they mob you and are tough as heck to kill. Good luck.

no they arent called mauraders... mauraders are only level 45 creatures and still very tough

gorax are level 300 and will probally kill anyone with one shot

right about that a maurader is nothing to a gorax.its insane to hunt those i hope youve got som nice s*** if youre gonna kill one of those .post it if you kill it!

Someone once told me that they fought a GORAK (not gorax) in the NW corner of the map in the desert.

they had at least 40 ppl, and they all died...so i was told.

if you recall from the first Ewok movie, the Gorak was in a cave in a forest...

does the gorax spawn outside the marauder mission?

I'm guessing that at least after this next big patch they will. They're taking it out of the marauder mission, and who would just take a creature out of the game totally? Its not like it was dropping uber loot or something, it was just an interesting fight. I think they're probably adding the gorax cave or maybe an area that spawns them rarely like the krayts on Tatooine.

I dunno where this post is cuz i found it on search so i wont be to replying to any replys but if u go to the marauder outpost (not sure of coords) and talk to the scholar for the 3rd mission he gives u u have to kill a gorax. Its 27k HAM 25% all cept an electricity weakness and heavy armor. Really nasty. I tried to call my pets on it but it went for me and not the pets. Id recommenda 2- person group with tons of elite doctors/CH's/and commandos

I killed a gorax with two friends a couple of days ago. Run about 5300m to the SW of the Smuggler outpost on Endor. You have to kill the Marauders, then go into their camp. The king guy does not give you the mission, but another NPC does. From the King, go back toward the entrance to the camp and you'll see an entrance and a tent to your left. The 2nd or 3rd mission from this guy spawns a Gorax. It pays like 35c lol.

My advice: it isn't worth it. I am a 3-3-1-4 CH and I was with a master CH. We went through all of our pets about 3 times. It was very difficult, it kills you in one strike - a rancor in about 8 strikes, if you shoot it, it WILL find you and kill you, and it gives the max XP even though lower level creatures and NPCs do as well. Only 2000 CH XP for a 300 lvl creature? Come on now.

Have fun and have a doctor capeable of resurrection with you. It will come in very handy.

I've killed a Gorax before. Toughest thing I've fought, next to a dark jedi master. I had help though, including ATSTs and at least 10 other people.

They aren't hard. Puta couple maulers on it, and don't get close. They have AOE KD+Dizzy that does good damage, meaning you're cooked if it lands and you don't get up. Stim Ds are your friend, so are riflemen and carbineers. Pistoleers will do so little damage it's laughable, the bleed will outrun the damage they do. You can KD them, just like you can KD AT-STs.. just remember about that AOE KD+Dizzy

Me and 2 others killed a gorax on endor.....took all day with no pets and alot of bleed shots but we took it out.

Yeah, you need to go to the maurader camp and get a mission from the guy in the first tent. On his 3rd mission he sends you to kill the Gorax. I did it solo, but I'm a CH so I was able to use a pet. I still died 3x because it switches targets fast. I will tell you this though, at first I was using Mereks then switched to a Frenzied graul. The 75% kinetic on the Graul makes alot of difference. So if you have grauls, or anything with high kinetic, use them, it helps.
