I was just realizing, and I should've noticed sooner, but playing a Jedi is not really all that fun. I have to avoid NPC's of all sorts, I don't play with people I don't "know" or trust, I can't join my guild on the Avatar, or the Corvette or the DWB, or anywhere on Kashyyyk, and I spend more time on my alt meeting people and having fun in those area's. I CAN however expect to spend several months to years hunting creatures, avoiding NPC's and players, and being excluded from nearly 90% of the content in the game.

Basically I'm sorry I unlocked and if I could undo it on my main I probably would.

Anyone else?

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

I am pretty much full temp'd (in the process of a small alteration) and I just do quests and dungeons either on my own or with my Guildies. It is ur fear of BHs that is limiting your game play of ur Jedi.

Yep this is exactly what Jedi was Pre - 9 -- Post 10, Pre -CU -- and Post CU its not, you have no idea what time your wasting... spin group on Lok or Dant and in three weeks POOF your done.

Someone either A: didnt tell you this or its your first day reading here OR B: your being sarcastic.

(Be glad you only have one risk now)..

oh come on give it a break, complete you template get your 4 mil xp cap, then do what you want. what you would have to die 8 times before you have to grind out XP, i do DWB with some friends ocassionally with full knowledge that for the rest of the day i will be seeing your friendly neighborhood BH, So go ahead go out and have fun, see a BH fight him Win or lose with 4 mil XP what does it really matter, I have redone my temp 4 times since june and seen a BH 2 times out of about 60 mil jedi XP and i am always travelling from here to there. i dont advertise that i am a jedi, but i dont hide either.

i really dont understand why everyone is concerned about vis. Yeas i know it increases your chances of seeing a BH, but listen. BH cannot tell if your templated ot not at the terminals.. AND most Jedi will tell you, we hardly ever see BH's... i can go weeks between recieving my content. And how much xp grinding do you miss out on hiding from Vis? Just go grind man.. yeah you'll get hit, yes, you'll get ticked about it. But in the end, especially in a good group, you will gain oodles more xp by just 'Working' instead of ducking every NPC or stranger you see.

When you start hating , dude, it's time to quit. We gripe and complain, but we all do that here because we DO love the game.

So quit worrying and get out there an have some fun... and when your temp'd and you pwn every BH that shows up ( every 2-3 weeks) you'll smile knowing what they used to cost you

Well my friend let me give ya some advice. Jedi is like a SWg addicts crack for the crackpipe.

And ill tell you why . I got my first jedi 48 hours before the jedi revamp . I was never so happy because I grinded 29 professions to get it . After leveling him about half way , I felt same way you did . All my friends were non-jedi. I was missing out on everything cause i had to solo in fear of gaining visibility. So after many days of long boring grinding i decided i couldnt take no more, so i did the unthinkable, I sold my account to a online friend. After 3 days i was kicking myself .

I had to have jedi agian. I went to store bought another copy of the game and started the FS grind . In 6 months i was jedi agian . 3 more months i was full template .The second time around i was more motivated to do it cause I felt like i threw away all my work on the previous jedi.

Anyway , now that im full-temp and there is barley nothing to do , I wonder why i had ever done all the gridning in the first place. Jedi is nothing like it used to be , I play my alt Doc/Riflemen way more than my jedi .

Im not telling you to stop grinding your jedi. That is something you will prob have to finish just for your own satisfaction. What im telling you is dont let your jedi ruin the game for you . If your having fun with your other toon just grind the jedi when your bored.

You were sucked into the jedi-grind just like the rest of us , and believe me. I know what your going through . _------------Jak

Not to be harsh, but Jedi is a life style. Jedi were ment to have certain penalties and remain in hiding to an extent. If you are full template, you have little to worry about. If you are not, then you gotta be carefull about the things you do. If you do not like the life of a Jedi, continue to play your alt.. or drop all jedi skills and you will be able to play the game as you once did. Choice is yours.
