Bounty Hunter Archive

What on earth could possibly inspire the devs to make it impossible for multiple BH's to hunt a Jedi? In the Movie SW Galaxy, no bounty hunter would ever be stupid enough to try to kill a Jedi solo. I think Jedi should be more powerful than a MBH/MR/CM4xxx. Like 2 times as powerful. But when three Bounty Hunters all showed up, knocking with a nice evil grin and TEF'd the sucker so he couldn't run home, it would make sense for the Jedi to perish in a flurry of lightsaber flashes and blaster fire.

Give the Jedi a nice fix. Don't nerf 'em, make them better. But just let me bring my friend. We'll see what happens.

Hmm Never saw SW Galaxy. And all the movies I saw never saw a BH kill a jedi. I miss it aswell but there were those who ruined it for the rest of us. And they were not Jedi which really Burns my biscuts! Yes the Jedi had a legit whine on it.

No, no SW Galaxy is nota movie. In the Star Wars movie galaxy, is what I meant. I was referring to the "real" Star Wars.

i'd LOVE to see Jedi get "fixed" and BH get to take the same mark easily..

But while it WOULD fix the Jedi/BH dynamic, it would create more complications in GCW PvP.

Did you see Episode 2 Attack of the Clones? On top of the balcony Jango (a Bounty Hunter) kills a Jedi Master. I think his name is Coleman Trebor. Look him up at the Starwars.com Database.

Jengo killing the jedi ok your rite. Not a real fan of the New movies to tell the truth.

As for the Orig Poster Ok SW Movie Universe. Galaxy kinda tossed me there.

I dunno if Jango had the guy's mission or not, but it sounds like a SWG BH mission; he waits for the Jedi to get into a big PvP fight and then waits for the cheap shot. Conclusion: SWG is accurate according to the movies.

heh, that's just how we roll. Whatever keeps my pockets full and keeps me away from the cloner is good.

Trying to compare the movies or real life does not work. Asking for more than 1 bh attacking at the same time already exists, even though it is all but impossible to coordinate without some extensive work. Look at this side of the coin, we as players are friends with the people we are running around with, and in real life I would not stand by and watch a friend get his arse handed to him, but in game I must do that very thing due to the BH dynamic that the BH community demanded. I would take as many as wanted to hunt me as long as friends could assist me also, but that would lead to mass PVP and god forbid we have that in the game. I mean it is a gallactic WAR isn't it.

It's not impossible to have multiple BH's hunt the same Jedi.

It is very unlikely but I don't see a game mechanic that prevents it entirely.

I agree with the original poster totally and completely. I disagreed with changing BH vs. Jedi to one on one because it implies that Jedi and BHs are equal, which is simply not the case (or at least it shouldn't be...) Hell, back in the pre-pub 9 days, if you wanted to take down a full-tempJedi, even assuming he didn't have a group with him, you better have brought at least 5 really good BHs with you.

Alas, these days every new bounty hunter complains that he/she can't kill a full temp 1v1 on his/her first try. Kinda sad...

Actually, the Jedi jumped up ontp the ledge moving to engage Dooku and Jango double-tapped him in the chest and sent him sailing. About a minute and a half prior to Mace lopping off the ol' mandalorian helmet.
