Thread: What are the requirements to pull a double gold chevron elite NPC?

I heard awhile ago you just needed to be MBH. I am currently changing my template and have dropped to CL74, still have MBH. Do I have a chance at pulling a mission like this?

I understand that. My question is if its possible to pull one at my CL or if there is a CL requirement to be able to pull one.

If your MBH , you can pull one as far as I know, I heard a rumour that you had to be 2 full Master boxes to be able to pull one of these, but im not sure if that is ture or not, but being totally honest with you, if your after loot , these guys usually drop crap and are a waste of time, ive got all my CA/AA off the elite marks , the double gold bosses drop power cells roughly 1 in every 5 of them, but since theres so many of these on the market now, and so many BH have ADK'd their guns, the prices of them have lowered a huge amount and there not worth the bother.

Hhmmm double elite professions? I've been having a bad run of loot so wasn't sure if it was just a dry spell or if I needed to be CL80. I will finish my template then. Thanks man.

Yes, that is the way it is "supposed" to work, so.........probably not.

lol regardless I will finish my template. 2 straight days of nothing but tool kits and mando frames isn't too much fun.

i know its all random, or a precentage, whatever... but i actually get Boss marks more often while taking lower pay/lower difficulty missions.... ive had up to 3 in a row all around CL 76-78

I can confirm that 2 master boxes is not required to pull boss marks. Pulled two of them a couple days ago, and I'm in the middle of changing my template. I was 78 at the time I pulled both boss marks, but they were lvl 80 missions. Oh, and so you know, I'm still getting better drops off of elites than bosses, so don't think the boss targets are all that awesome (both bosses only dropped delicate trigger assemblies, while one elite dropped a CA on the same day).... that's just annoying, but whatever.

Mind if I ask a question? Can you explain the elites and bosses. How do you know what is what and how they are classifed? Do the mission actually tell you? Thanks.

One silver chevron on each side oftheir name = elite
Two gold chevrons on each side of their name = boss

elites have silver bars one the left and right side of the HAM, and have a HAM of between 15-20k
boss' have gold bars aroundthe HAM, and have a HAM of generally 20-34k (usually near 30k)
the mission wont tell you
